I am hoping that someone might remember my sister Ann Gardiner Anne is seven years older than me and moved down from Carlisle before I was born,so that may have been 1939 'ish.Our Dad was in the fire service and we lived in the Fire Station.
Anne was tall,dark hair with long plaits and went to St Georges School .If anyone can give me dates I would be most grateful Lynda Gardiner

A ‘Delay not, time flies’ Victorian attendance medal.
150 years old and is from St Sepulchre’s School which was the old school before St George’s was built.
St Sepulchre’s was built in 1845 and had to close in 1904 due to the amount of work needed for improvements and the managers unable to meet the cost. The garden land of the site was sold for £2,900 on which St George’s was built. The old St Sepulchre’s building is still there, having seen the building of the new St George’s and then it’s demolition.

I attended the School from 1955 to 1958 and knew Mr North. My cousins all went there and we lived at Sunlight House. I now live in Australia. Love to hear from students who attended during those years.
