Can you help grow my Seed Swap Library?
I’m starting a little Seed Swap Library, a place for our community to share, discover and grow 🌻🌿
The idea is simple: take what you need, leave what you can. Whether you’ve got a few spare packets tucked away in a drawer, seeds you’ve saved from your garden, or packets you know you won’t use, I’d love your help getting the library started 💚
What can you donate?
🥕 Vegetable seeds
🌸 Flower seeds
🌿 Herb seeds
🪴 Seeds you’ve collected and saved from your own garden or allotment
🌱In-date seed packets
How will it work?
Once the library is up and running, you’ll be able to browse and take a packet (or a small amount) to grow at home, and, if you can, save some seeds from your plants to bring back and pop in the library for others to enjoy.
Want to help kick-start the library?
Please get in touch and I can either come and collect your seeds or you can drop at Forest School on your next visit.
The library will be located at the entrance to Whimsy Woods (Welford Christmas Tree Farm) in a little green post box. Inside will be spare envelopes and a pen, as well as a selection of donated seeds! I’ve not finished decorating the library yet, but once it’s ready and I’ve managed to collect enough seeds to get started I’ll post on socials.
