SPL has an opportunity for a highly experienced operational leader to join their growing business as Head of Operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of Road Recycling activities across the UK as well as contributing to the future growth and direction of the business as the market continues to evolve.

About Us:
SPL is the leading provider of Road Recycling solutions to the UK road network, utilising decades of experience and with a strong reputation for innovation. Based in Scaldwell, Northampton, we provide clients all over the UK with solutions for roads which not only save money, but also significantly lower the carbon footprint of the project.

About You:
We are seeking an experienced Highways professional with a strong operational background and an ability to lead from the front in a specialist SME business. The successful candidate would ideally have:

- NEBOSH/ISOH Qualification (or similar)
- NVQ 6 or higher
- Relevant CSCS accreditation (Gold or higher)
- Experience in NEC/JCT forms of contract
- Good analytical skills
- Surfacing, Surface Dressing or Recycling experience.

Must have a full UK driving license.
Good rates of pay to the right candidate.

We are looking to recruit a trainee technician to carry out site investigations, laboratory materials testing on future recycling sites.
No experience necessary, full training will be given.
Must have a full UK driving licence.

Start of the new season and another new kit for Allestree Juniors FC Feyenoord, playing in the Derby Junior league. Have a great season lads.

We are on the lookout for more skilled operatives to join our business. With a solid pipeline of work, we want to add a number of hard-working people to our busy Road Recycling teams delivering schemes across the country.
Our teams are made up of multi-role operatives, who reflect the various road treatment options offered in the different environments we work in.

We are seeking motivated people with one or more of the following experience/qualifications:

▪ Sweeper Driver
▪ Class 1 or 2 HGV Drivers
▪ Surface Dressing Operatives

A valid CSCS card along with the relevant CPCS/NPORS is desired, although ongoing training and development is also provided. Our typical work pattern is Mon-Fri day shifts, with very limited nights and weekends. Our sites are nationwide, so travel is required on a regular basis.
