Next week, is Year 6 SATs week. I could not be prouder of our Year 6s. They have worked hard throughout their seven years at Headlands, and in the run up to SATs they have demonstrated huge resilience. They have been motivated to improve, and they have clearly demonstrated the DARE Values. Our SATs outcomes over the last four school years have been above national averages. We can be optimistic about the children's outcomes this year. I have spoken to Year 6 today and told them how proud we all are of them. I have said that they are already successful and their best next week is absolutely good enough! Good luck Year 6!

Today Year One had a visit from two Doctors. We had to triage our teddy bears and make them better. We were very good at asking questions and could tell the Doctors about Mary Seacole and Edith Cavell who we have been learning about in our History lessons.

Please help by completing this short survey ASAP to help Carrie out. Many Thanks
Dear Parents/Carers,
I work at Abington Vale Primary School (part of NPAT), and I am currently studying for my Batchelors degree in Learning and Teaching at the University of Northampton. For my dissertation, I am undertaking a small-scale comparative research study titled 'Consistency in primary physical education (PE) curriculum within a multi-academy trust: Impact for sports, access and wellbeing' across three schools within our Trust.
I would really appreciate yours and your children’s support by completing the survey below by either following the links or scanning the QR codes. There is a questionnaire for Parents/Carers and a separate one for the children in KS2 to complete.
Many thanks,
Mrs Jamieson

Headlands flag football team competed at a tournament today, winning their league of games without losing a single match. Fantastically through the semis and into the finals. Finishing 2nd overall, the children really earned their medals.
We are incredibly proud of how they have played today and what great sports they’ve been. What a fantastic day to celebrate all the effort and practice we have put in. Well done Headlands!
