IMPORTANT:

We are really sorry to share that tomorrow’s Y-Not session is CANCELLED due to a booking error with MAA and the building not being available for the full morning. NMPAT have only just been made aware of this.

We were really looking forward to our morning of music making and understand that this late cancellation may upset some of our students.

We will see you all next SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER.

❗️IMPORTANT NOTICE - please read the following message that has been sent out to all parents and carers❗️

Dear parents and carers,

We are emailing to inform you that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our performance of Hercules on Saturday 27th June and we will reschedule it for the end of September/ early October (new date to be confirmed). We will also not be running sessions on Saturday.

NMPAT has been monitoring guidance throughout the week and will be closed for Ensembles, Individual lessons and the midweek Centre both today and tomorrow. Whilst Saturday is not currently categorised as a red warning, it is still classified as an Amber Extreme Heat weather warning and is expected to reach temperatures in the high 20s during the morning.

After a week of very high temperatures the theatre will be hot and there will not be sufficient ventilation to cool it down. We are mindful that some of our performers, staff and audience members may have medical conditions that will be exacerbated by the heat and do not wish to place anyone at risk. The safety and wellbeing of everyone is our priority.

We appreciate that this decision may lead to some disappointment so please reassure your Y-Not member that it is being postponed rather than cancelled entirely. We will confirm the new date as soon as possible. Any tickets purchased will automatically be transferred to the new date or we can issue a refund if necessary.

Please know that this decision was not taken without a lot of consideration but ultimately the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff has to come first.

If you have any questions, please email on this address,

Kind regards,

Harriet and the Y-Not team

*Please be aware that we are following guidance about the Red Weather warning and if it is deemed too hot to run the show, it will be rescheduled to September. We have everything crossed it’ll cool down. Stay safe everyone ☀️
