Perfect Notes Music School

Congratulations to all who were involved in our Christmas Concert - £560 was raised for St George's Church, an amazing amount! It was a wonderful concert set in a beautiful church and there have been many comments of praise from the audience regarding the student's playing. Thank you to all who helped make it happen.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all past and present students and their families, very happy Christmas.🎄

Attention! Tickets are now on sale for our Christmas concert which is on Sunday 14th December at 2.30pm at St George's church in Wootton.

Students of all ages from beginners to advanced will be playing seasonal and non-seasonal music. Refreshments are included in the ticket price of £6.00 Adult, £3.00 Concessions, under 5's are free. All profits are being donated to the church.

Summer Lessons...
For students who would like a lesson or two in the summer, we will be open on the following dates:
Monday 4th August
Wednesday 6th August
Wednesday 13th August
Lessons are available on piano, keyboard, electric guitar, classical guitar, flute & recorder.
The cost is £18 for 30 minutes or £36 for 1 hour. (Please note payment is required at the time of booking)

Retirement Announcement

When we close for the summer on 22st July, after working at Perfect Notes for 26 years, Maria, our treasured receptionist, will retire.

If you have had a connection with Perfect Notes, you will have spoken to Maria, many of you will know her well and I know I’m not alone when I say she will be much missed.

I wish her every happiness in her well-deserved retirement, personally I can’t thank her enough for her dedication to Perfect Notes over the years.

There is now a job vacancy for a receptionist.

Today is our 26th year open! Where has the time gone? Children who we first taught are now adults with children of their own, quite a scary thought! Thank you to everyone who continues to support us and may we be here for many more years to come.

It is with great sadness I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Diane Hockton. Mum passed away aged 83 on 15th March 2025 at NGH. Many of you will remember her; for several years she was on reception at Perfect Notes and she helped at many of our concerts. I will miss her so much.
