World Book Day 2026
This morning the whole school gathered in the hall for a parade of all the wonderful costumes.
At lunch time our Library guardians are holding blind date with a book in the school library. Our books have been wrapped in plain paper to entice children to read books by an author they wouldn't normally choose.
This afternoon Key stage 2 pupils will settle down with our Key stage one pupils and share a book together and then at the end of the day teachers will swap classes to read their favourite story to another class.

We are looking forward to seeing all the wonderful costumes tomorrow for world book day!
Children are invited to come to school dressed in their pyjamas or as their favourite character from a book

Last week class 4 started a design and technology project as primary engineers. They worked together to build cars powered by an electric circuit. It was a really tricky project but everyone tried so hard to measure and build with accuracy as well as showcasing their amazing knowledge of electrical circuits.
