Our nomination recognises our Jazz Matters programme and our tiered Big Bands, which give young people technical development, performance experience and clear routes into further study, professional training and careers in music.
We’re so proud of what our talented young jazz musicians achieve 💜

We’re one of four organisations on the shortlist, and we’re in great company alongside Devon Music Education Hub, Hampshire Music Hub and Lewisham Music.

Less than two weeks until Octubafest UK 🎶🌟

The fun takes place on Sunday 11th October from 2.30pm for rehearsals. We will be joined by the tuba team from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and more. Concert at 5.30pm, invite your family and friends!

🎺 Every single child played a note! 4NC picked up brass instruments for the very first time as part of our Towcester NMPAT Brass Project. Everyone had a go on a trumpet or a trombone, and every single child managed to play a note. What a start!

We're excited for our upcoming Careers Fair on Saturday 17th October, running from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. The afternoon will include talks and exhibition stands, with visitors from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, University of Northampton, The Royal Corps of Army Music and more sharing insights, opportunities and different pathways.

Do you know a future string star? 🎻🎶

Our Little Strings sessions are perfect for children aged 5 to 7 who would like to learn the violin in a fun group setting.

They take place on Wednesdays during term time from 4.15pm to 5.00pm at our Kettering Road location (NN1 4AZ).

🌟 Sessions cost £22.80 per month, including the free loan of an instrument.
