Another terrific day for the children in the Owl Class. Group 1 were canoeing and group 2 were doing High Ropes. Once again their willingness to engage in scary or new situations shone through. Every single child has accomplished new skills this week. Their behaviour has been impeccable - the centre staff were trying to swap rotas to have the opportunity to work with our children, and staff from other schools praised the manners and attitudes of our children. Education is about many things - but this week our oldest children have shown us the values, the resilience and the confidence that we hope all of our children learn in their time at EVPA. Well done Owls - we couldn’t be more proud. ❤️

Another smashing day! Group 2 did sailing, climbing and pioneering. Group 1 did climbing, pioneering and High Ropes. This evening we all did the Grafham Blindfold Challenge! We are INCREDIBLY proud of all the children. They have been brave, they have been supportive and they have been resilient. So many faced fears head on and pushed themselves to achieve more than they thought they could.
We are having the BEST time!

Transition day today! It is a big change for our Reception children moving up to Year 1 - but Miss Allsop said they were fantastic! Our current year 1 children made them feel so welcome and enjoyed being the ‘older ones’ for a while! They all did some brilliant maths, writing, and some lovely art this afternoon!

Huge well done to all the children who performed in ‘Gigglebox’ yesterday - we are so proud of them!
A special thanks to Mrs Satizabal, Mrs Shirley, Miss Laundon and Karen for all their hard work organising this special performance. 🎭

And we're ready for showtime! Let's see what's on the gigglebox tonight!
