A great day out at Wicksteed Park! 🤩

Yesterday we headed to Wicksteed Park for a day out, enjoying the rides and having lots of fun together🎢😊

Lots of smiles and some great memories made along the way! 💙

The results of the cookery session yesterday created amazing Vegetable Lasagne. Making healthy options from scratch is rewarding and provides important life skills. A session enjoyed by all who took part.

Spectrum Northants is delighted to be part of the Local Community Fund. The year of our current participating concludes on Saturday 17th October 2026, and your support till then will provide valuable funds for the garden make over, which includes more raised beds, at our Berrywood Road Centre.

Our Spectrum Northants Cafe is open today till 3pm and tomorrow from 9am to 3pm. We look forward to welcoming you when the weather is warm as we will when the weather cools next week. A friendly welcome awaits your visit.

It was a delight to recognise today the positive contribution of our Berrywood Road Senior Learning Centre Manager, Jackie, on reaching her ten year milestone of working at Spectrum Northants. Every day our service users benefit from her assistance and that provided by colleagues.

We now have five staff who have been working for the charity for ten years or more, showing the importance of combining continuity with ongoing innovation.

Thank you to Jackie and thank you to the rest of the staff team for enabling and encouraging service users to reach their goals.

The William Street Centre had a great musical session with Ally today 🥁 dancing and playing along it was a great interactive session 💃🎶

What a great day for our fruit and veg stall! 🥕

We had lots of lovely produce from our allotment for sale, which service users helped to grow and harvest 🥔🌱 alongside crafts made by the service users 🎨

We’re really pleased to have raised £76 🎉 this supports our social enterprise, helping us to continue to provide opportunities and activities for our service users 💙

We value customers supporting the Spectrum Northants Cafe and Spectrum Charity-shop at our Berrywood Road Centre. This provides an important source of income that helps us deliver our charitable objectives, while also offering valuable training opportunities for the people we support.

We have recently had a couple of negative customer incidents which have impacted the wellbeing of our staff and service users. We would therefore wish to remind that as part of the learning process; service may occasionally take a little longer than in a purely commercial setting.

We greatly appreciate the patience, encouragement, and kindness shown by our customers. Every positive interaction helps build confidence, develop skills, and create a sense of achievement for our service users.

By visiting our café and shop, you are doing more than making a purchase — you are helping people gain experience, independence and confidence in a supportive environment. Thank you for being part of that journey.
