PQA Northampton

That’s a wrap our last weekend and we are spinning into summer! Such great sessions on Friday and Saturday this weekend at PQA Northampton - Some firsts and some lasts as we had our youngest performers - Poppets join our Green Group on Saturday morning and they were amazing supported by Mia and Ruby we had some leavers of course and we will be sad to see them go but we know they are ready for the Uni life and we are so proud of them and we played a part in their journey - A massive thank you to all our young performers and parents and teachers for an amazing year and we will you in September!

We started our final approach to the end of term! Here’s our Friday evening session in Northampton yesterday we are excited to working on various skills In Musical Theatre - acting through song, Film and Television - Screen Acting Comedy and Drama - Setting and layering a scene with acting choices

🌞 What a fantastic weekend at PQA Northampton!
As performers, one of the most important skills we can learn is how to adapt—and that’s exactly what our students did this weekend. 💜
With the warmer weather, our amazing tutors made sure everyone stayed happy, safe and focused with plenty of breaks, lots of water bottle refills, and by making the most of different rehearsal spaces, including some time outdoors. ☀️💧
We loved seeing the creativity, confidence and teamwork shining through in all three of our modules. There were some brilliant creative choices made, and we couldn’t be prouder of how our students embraced every challenge.

A massive thank you Mario’s Ice Cream .northants for supplying us with ice creams for our young performers, family and friends and the team yesterday and today - couldn’t have picked a better weekend for it!! Two more sessions to go!!

Red Group Cabaret PM - Choosing to sing a solo or duet can be daunting, as performers we are our biggest critics, if we prepare we can make magic! Enjoy!

Yesterday our showcase season drew to close, with our senior students - Here is Red Group AM with 'Beat It' - their cabaret was devised by them - Beat It - was choreographed by Luca - front and centre who has only moved up from Blue Group - they all did so well very proud of them.

We were delighted to welcome new young performers for their first session at PQA Northampton, and it’s always sad when our students graduate!
What a great weekend across all of our academies – new skills learnt in Comedy and Drama, exploration of a variety of musicals, and of course honing our filmmaking skills.
With rehearsals and showcases throughout the weekend, what a great way to learn, create and perform together.

Every performance opportunity, big or small, is a valuable learning experience for our young performers.

From the West End stage to local showcases, and skills learning we know just how much dedication, passion and hard work they pour into every single performance and class.

As we welcome the end of another fantastic term at PQA Northampton, we’re incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved and can’t wait to see what comes next. 🌟🎭✨
