During April, we covered Easter, why we celebrate Easter, what Easter means (not just the chocolate,). We have covered a lot of independent skills aswell as healthy eating and how to keep our teeth healthy too to name a few subjects.

We also spent a lot of time outdoors as the weather has been lovely and attended a few classes here and there.

We have been wildlife watching with snails and celebrated a birthday or 2.

Im so proud of each and every one of your children, they try everything that gets put in front of them and they always try their best.

Ive been looking at other classes recently too, so cooking will be coming back to our weekly sessions, local toddler groups, messy play including forest school and kidslingo classes too. Im excited for the summer term, we sadly have had a couple of children leave but we have also had a couple return and slot right back into our routine, plus some new starters too, busy, busy, busy.

April you have been awesome, onto May we go..... 🥰

March has been about springtime, we read about springtime, checked out how we know its springtime, what is different about spring when we compare it to summer etc and so much more.

We grew beans because who doesnt love observing a growing bean into a sprouting bean for planting 👍, we cuddled a lot as we do with our friends not because they are sad specifically, just because that's what we do here, we never refuse a cuddle offered 🥰🥰.

We made marks & potions, we saw lots of lady birds, we learned about flowers and birds, made lovely gifts for our Mummy's on Mothers day and if thst wasnt enough, observed farm animals and modes of transport on the school run.

Phew so much to fit in, so little time 🙈🤣🥰, onto April we go

Easter weekend, visiting family. I do get to have a break on the odd occassion too. Happy Easter everyone 🐣 whatever you are doing or have done, I hope you all have made lots of lovely memories 😍🥰 see you all soon.

February has been so busy with the Olympics, Chinese New Year and Pancake Day too.....phew so much to learn, so little time. We managed to squeeze in a birthday or two. How I have no idea but 🎉🎉 we did it

Colours, shapes, countries, sports, we watched a video which showed all the winter sports that were included in the olympics, we also went in a completely different direction and onto flags of the 🌏 and who was being represented at the Olympics.

We also got right into the swing of things for CNY, We tried on outfits, read a book, checked out a Chinese menu for food, roleplay was great 🎉.

Onto Pancake day, we had flashcards with recipe items, weighed ingredients out and made our own pancakes 😊 no eggs were broken in the making..... lol 🤣
Birthdays..... I can't believe some little ones are turning 4, where has the time gone, they will be leaving us later this year for school 😱 oh my time does fly when we have so much fun.

Onto March we go

I feel so lucky where we live, there aren't many people who, when on the school run get to see cows, sheep, deer on occassions and many more different animals too. As much as the school run is limiting on time, Its really not so bad.

January 2026, well we started January with Arctic animals & Winter, these topics took us in lots of different directions, what we wear in Winter, why do we wear these items, How it differs to what we need for summer and more.

Arctic animals was just as diverse: we completed some Yoga moves, learned facts about Polar Bears, numbers, colours, letters and more I loved every minute. I hope the children did too.

I would like to take an opportunity to say thank you to everyone for your quick responses when I needed them and the sad news of my Moms passing that followed, Im extremely grateful to you all for your comforting words, hugs, flowers and more. I couldn't ask for any more. I really am the luckiest person to have you all allow me to take care of your little ones and your compassion and understanding has been great too thank you. ❤️

September came and September went but it gave us lots of memories and lots of learning opportunities, We held onto Summer as long as possible with letter (upper and lower case) recognition, We ventured out to play on lots of different parks, using our climbing skills, waiting and taking turns, being patient, listening, following instructions and more.

We also used our number knowledge to extend into times tables for the older ones but the younger ones were just playing with pop it toys, so they thought 🥰

Using our big baking muscles at Eat Sleep Bake Repeat - Northampton’s award-winning children’s baking club ❤️

We celebrated a birthday or 3 (including my own 🎂🥳).

We fed the deer, went for walks independently, great listening skills and looking out for each other, holding hands and talking and again waiting for everyone to be together, your children are fantastic, I can't say enough about how well they behave and really look out for their friends ❤️

Artwork, we have painted plates, made hedgehogs, made leaf people, leaf rubbing and Conker Rolling to name a few 🥰

Ive loved September, I hope you all did too. Onto October 😍
