Dear Primary Parents/Carers

To get in the mood for the Men's Football World Cup, our PTA have organised a football colours themed m***i day (see attached flyer).

We will allocate a country to each class by pulling them out of a hat during tomorrow's assembly.

We would love it if your child could come to school on Friday 19th June dressed in that country's colours - this could be as little as a sock or a hair band or as much as a whole outfit.

Primary Parents - our annual primary phase sports day raffle is approaching!

We have had some wonderful prizes donated including Northampton Saints and Northampton Town Football Club tickets, vouchers from Hops and Chops, Padel Power, Riverside Hub, Northants Trampoline Gymnastics Academy, Tenpin, ODEON Cinemas, nourish, The Freestyle Group, Aesthety, Smith’s Barber Company, and Sophie Does Hair. Plus some wonderful beauty hampers including a donation from Puddle of Wax.

We will be selling tickets before and after school late next week, Monday 15th and during sports day on Tuesday 16th June. If sports day is postponed we will draw the raffle after the event on Tuesday 30th June.

TDS Friends are organising a fundraising raffle during the primary phase sports day on 16th June and are seeking prizes from our local community.

If any parents/carers or local businesses can donate or sponsor a prize, please get in touch with us on [email protected]. Your generosity helps TDS Friends fund amazing opportunities for our children.

TDS Friends are seeking raffle prizes for the primary phase sports day in June!

If anyone would like to donate a raffle prize (for example a gift voucher or hamper) then please let us know.

Fundraising allows us to provide activities for the children and resources for the school (we’ve recently funded the repair to the primary school trim trail and purchased new drum equipment for the secondary phase) so any help would be much appreciated.

With your help TDS Friends raised £836 on World Book Day! 🎉

That’s over 700 chocolate bars enjoyed, 60+ books and 20 vouchers won, 2 family days out to enjoy and lots of memories made for pupils of The Duston School.

A special thanks to year 5 parent Keri Greaves for designing our beautiful wrappers, to Booker Northampton for donating some bars and to Hops and Chops for donating some books.

All proceeds directly benefit pupils of The Duston School.

SECONDARY Wonka Day

In celebration of World Book Day our PTA, TDS Friends, presents The TDS Chocolate Co! Pre-order your chocolate bar (Galaxy, 100g) to be in with a chance of winning gold, silver or bronze tickets! Prizes for Key Stage 3 pupils include a variety of Amazon vouchers.

Pre-order your chocolate bar by Monday 2nd March (max. 3 bars per pupil) by following the link below. Chocolate bars will be distributed at school on World Book Day (Thursday 5th March). Please ensure you write the correct child's name and select the correct class for each bar to ensure they are delivered correctly.
