Some of the Little Acorns enjoyed an Autumn walk this week and there has been lots of conversations about how the leaves are changing and of course, conkers! So next week we have lots or Autumn activities planned and there may even be a pumpkin or 2!

We hope that all of the children are enjoying using their dental hygiene packs that they have bought home this week. At our group times during this week we have been talking about the importance of bruising our teeth twice a day. We hope you have a lovely weekend and we will see you all next week for more fun and learning!

It has been a busy week here at preschool with lots of new children coming in for their settling in visits. All of the ladies are really pleased with how well they have settled and our little acorns have done a super job with helping to look after them! It's that time of year again when coughs and colds are doing the rounds. We have been talking lots about how important it is to wipe noses and wash hands to try and stop the germs spreading. We hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Welcome back to all of our Little Acorns and their families! We hope that you have all had a wonderful summer break. All of the children have settled back in beautifully and have been busy exploring preschool. Just a little reminder about lunches-could you please ensure that they are completely nut free. Also, if you are packing grapes, could they please be cut in to quarters, lengthways. Thank you!

Firstly, a huge well done to all of the Little Acorns for taking part in our sponsored bounce this week-especially in this heat! All of the children should be coming home with a certificate and a photo has been uploaded to tapestry. Secondly, a big thank you to all of our Little Acorns family and friends for sponsoring the children-you have all been extremely generous. We are having a count up and will let you know how much we have raised, thank you! Lastly, just a reminder that our last day of preschool for everyone is next Thursday 16th July. Our school leavers graduation is on Friday 17th July 9:30am-11:30am and all children must be accompanied an adult. Have a lovely weekend!

WOW! It's been a hot week! We are all so proud of how well the children have coped in the heat this week. We have spent some short periods of time in the garden but we have spent a lot of time playing inside with the air-conditioning on! We all enjoyed a delicious ice lolly as well to help us cool down-thank you to Rachael and one of our parents! Have a lovely weekend everyone.

We have butterflies-the children have been eagerly awaiting their arrival! The sun has also hade an appearance so it's been lovely to spend lots of time in our garden. On that note, it's looking to be super hot next week. Could you please ensure the children arrive at preschool with suncream applied, a sun hat and water bottle. Thank you! Have a lovely weekend.

Welcome back! We hope that you all had a lovely half-term break. Can you believe that we are in our final term of the summer?! This term is going to be super busy and fun for our Little Acorns and preparations for our school leavers graduation ceremony are well under way. Please keep your eye on tapestry for any updates. Also, could we please ask that all of the funding forms that have gone home this week are returned as soon as possible. If you haven't already completed your form, could you please ensure that your funding code is included on the form-thank you! Have a lovely weekend.

What a lovely week at preschool we have had! The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the musical instruments and making music together. We have been practicing writing our names at the mark making table as well as our numbers. We hope that you all enjoy the beautiful weather over the half-term and we are back at preschool on Tuesday 2nd June.
