James Samuel Mutton is with Brian Mutton at the Northampton Museum & Art Gallery.

It’s finally happening. This project has been a labor of love for me since my father, Brian, passed two years ago. In 2021, he had carefully put away over 100 paintings in his studio, feeling like they were not his best stuff and he couldn’t face his artwork anymore. These paintings represent the breadth of his creativity and process and deserve to be seen by the world. I am so grateful for my family and friends for supporting me in this endeavor, especially Rafaelina Tineo who gave me the strength and courage to see it through. Come visit, buy a piece for your homes, raise a glass to a most humble giant who deserves his day in the art world. Private family and friends opening is October 9th 6.30-8.30 p.m.
