🦖 Did you know our T-Rex skull has a connection to Jurassic Park?

Today at Raunds Park Infants School, after meeting Reggie the T-Rex, the children got a closer look at our replica T-Rex skull.

It features a distinctive little bump — a displaced bone known as the ectopterygoid. The same unusual “birthmark” appears on the famous T-Rex fossil AMNH 5027.

And here’s the really cool bit…

When the original Jurassic Park T-Rex artwork was created, it was based on an illustration of this famous fossil — including that very same bump! 🦖🎬

A brilliant little piece of dinosaur and movie history to share after meeting our 5-metre-long Reggie!
