Northampton High School GDST An Independent Girls' School for 2-18 year olds. A proud member of the Girls' Day School Trust.
(1)

Northampton High School is an independent day school for girls aged from 2 - 18 years (Nursery to Sixth Form). We believe in our girls
And they believe in themselves

True to our guiding principle – that everything we do is tailored to the individual girls in the building here and now – we get to know our students really well. Our girls step into school at the beginning of their journey with us full of curiosity and potential. They stride out when they leave us eager and ready to take on the world and to make a positive difference.

🎾 Saturday Spotlight: Scarlett (Year 6) 🏆

Yesterday afternoon, our Year 7 geographers got out into the school grounds to complete field sketches as part of their geography fieldwork project. ✏️🌿

They’re investigating the environmental quality of different areas of the school, collecting data and making observations along the way.

Over the next week, they’ll be analysing their findings, creating graphs and writing up their conclusions.

Great to see our geographers putting their fieldwork skills into action! 👏

What a wonderful Open Morning! ✨

One of the highlights of today had to be heading down to our Forest School. 🌳🍂

Tucked away in our grounds, Forest School gives our girls the chance to learn beyond the classroom - getting outside, exploring, building confidence, taking risks, working together and, most importantly, having fun!

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! ✨

Over the summer break, a wonderful parcel arrived for the 7 pupils who took part in the Schools 48 Hour Film Competition for the first time this year. Each student received a certificate, a medal and a few other goodies in recognition of their efforts.

They were absolutely delighted with the feedback they received and it was lovely to see their hard work acknowledged in this way. The girls had to work completely independently, incorporate a named object, line of dialogue and characteristic - which was not revealed until the competition opened - and meet a strict deadline.

Well done girls! ⭐️🙌🏼
