Today preschool have celebrated Mother's Day 💐

The children had the chance to explore different activities with their mums and family members. We created our own bouquets following instructions in the tray to wrap. We created some beaded bracelets and decorated key chains with lots of glitter. Throughout the session the parents and children enjoyed some yummy snacks 🍓 🎂 🥕🍊

The children have also been creating some Mother's Day gifts to take home and share with their grown ups.

Today the children have been taking part in World Book Day at nursery. They have been exploring different activities planned in the theme of books. The Goldilocks and the Three Bears oat sensory tray was a big hit with the children. They were able to use their hands as well as different tools to scoop, pour and measure. Here are a few costumes the children wore to the nursery today to celebrate different book characters.

We have been celebrating Holi at nursery today. We have been exploring colour in different ways, the children were able to use pipets to explore how the coloured milk moved in the oil. We moved the the drops around to create new colours. The children also explored paint on different materials and spoke about the different colours they could see.

Our visit to Foxfields

Last week the pre-school children went to visit the residents at Foxfield's. We took some Christmas crafts with us and decorated tree decorations to place on the Christmas trees at Foxfield's.

We would like to say a big thank you to Foxfields for welcoming the children and staff and making us feel welcome.
