Learning about eclipses through hands-on exploration! 🌞🌑✨

Today we talked about what happens when the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, creating a solar eclipse. We explored pictures of eclipses, talked about the shapes and shadows we see, and even made our own eclipse artwork.

It was such a fun way to turn a big science idea into something we could see, create, and understand. 🔭💛

🎨🎤 DAY 3: Rockstars & Dance Moves! We’ve officially hit day three of our fundraising week for the Northampton General Hospital children’s ward garden renovation, and today was absolute magic! The children got their faces painted before taking to the stage with blow-up instruments and balloons under the lights for an epic dance-a-thon and karaoke session, singing their absolute hearts out for charity. 🧁 Day 2 of our fundraising week was an absolute triumph with our bake sale yesterday ! Our little bakers rolled up their sleeves to master cracking eggs, weighing ingredients, and using their imaginations to decorate some truly wonderful treats. They were so incredibly proud to show off their masterpieces to their families—especially one of our sweet girls, who touched all our hearts by donating her actual “tooth fairy” money to the cause! Because it went so amazingly well, we have officially extended the bake sale for the rest of the week.
