Rothersthorpe School’s Year 5/6 pupils delivered a fantastic performance at the Dynamos Cricket competition, showcasing not only their cricketing ability but also exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.

From the very first match, the team played with determination and enthusiasm, setting the tone for what would be an impressive run.

Their strong team spirit proved to be a key factor in their success.
Drawn in a highly competitive group, Rothersthorpe worked tirelessly and produced a series of excellent performances to secure a well-earned second-place finish. This achievement saw them progress to the final rounds, where the level of competition stepped up even further.

In the finals, they faced fellow iMAT schools Badby and Weedon in closely contested matches. The team continued to demonstrate resilience, skill, and great character under pressure and won the entire final group stages. Every player played their part—whether batting, bowling, or fielding—making it a true all-round team effort.
Overall, it was a superb day of cricket for Rothersthorpe School. Even more impressive was the way the team supported and encouraged one another throughout, making this a performance to be especially proud of.

Sensational Performance at the County Finals!

A huge round of applause for our Year 3/4 Tag Rugby team, who travelled to the County Finals and gave an outstanding account of themselves from start to finish.

It was a day bursting with energy—lightning-fast play, impressive skill, and, above all, exceptional sportsmanship. Our young athletes represented Rothersthorpe with pride and determination, truly embodying the spirit of teamwork.

The Scarrett Cup: After battling through a series of challenging opening rounds, their perseverance and resilience secured a well-deserved place in the Scarrett Cup play-offs.

We couldn’t be prouder of how every player rose to the challenge of competing at county level. You’ve set a fantastic example for the whole school and shown just what can be achieved through dedication and teamwork.

Well done, team—keep up the brilliant work! 🏆👏

What an unforgettable experience for our Rothersthorpe children at Young Voices 2026! They sang their hearts out, filled the arena with energy, and represented our school with such enthusiasm and pride. Being part of the largest children’s choir concerts in the world was truly electrifying, as thousands of young voices from primary schools across the UK came together in one incredible celebration of music. The atmosphere was amazing, the smiles were endless, and the memories made will last a lifetime. We are so proud of every single child who took part and delighted that Rothersthorpe was part of such a spectacular event 🎶💙
