Over last half term, some of our learners took part in a fundraising project, they created their own events, advertised them and worked in their teams to raise over £700 for 7 different charities. We are super proud of the hard work that they have put into raising the funds for their chosen charities

🌟 We've been celebrating Learning Disability Week! 🌟 Join us in honoring the unique strengths and achievements of our students.
Why it matters: Raising awareness and promoting understanding is crucial to our education provision. Many traditional educational systems do not fully meet the needs of people with learning disabilities. This week highlights the importance of creating a supportive, inclusive community where every learner, especially those traditionally undeserved, can thrive and reach their full potential.
Our approach: Unlike standard education systems, our bespoke program is specifically designed to support individuals with learning disabilities. We offer tailored support and accommodations to ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed and achieve their goals.

Ourselves and Sendiass West Northants are excited to invite parent carers of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) young people to participate in a focus group to preview and provide feedback on our new "Preparing for Adulthood" (PfA) document. This important guide aims to help young people and their families navigate the transition to adulthood with confidence and clarity. By joining the focus group, you will review a working draft of the PfA document, share your insights and suggestions, and engage in meaningful discussions with other parents and carers. Your feedback is crucial in ensuring the guide is practical, comprehensive, and truly beneficial.
The focus group will be held on two separate dates – you will only need to attend one:
Wednesday 26th June in the Guildhall (Jeffrey Room), Northampton 6pm-7:30pm
Friday 28th June at The Forum (first floor committee room), Towcester 10am-11:30am
If you are interested in participating, please contact us on [email protected] and subject email PfA Focus Group and share your preferred day.
Spaces are limited, so please respond promptly. We look forward to working together to make a difference!
