It was a fantastic September session at Moulton library yesterday!

From newborn snuggles to curious older babies, we carried out fit checks and hired suitable carriers to keep parents and babies comfortable on their adventures.

Our next Moulton session will be on 5th October.

Struggling to work out how your stretchy wrap should look? Here's how.

Make sure both layers are spread all the way across from the back of one knee to the other, and also across the back. Then the third layer comes up and over baby's feet up to the nape of the neck.

Special Summer Sessions Booking Now

Our amazing volunteer consultants have kindly offered to step away from their own summer holidays to run two sessions this August:

đź“Ť Milton Keynes: Monday 10th August AM - FULLY BOOKED
đź“Ť Moulton: Monday, 17th August Evening

Slots for these sessions are highly limited due to volunteer availability, and booking is absolutely essential.

👉 Head to our website to book: https://northamptonshireslinglibrary.as.me/

Because we anticipate these sessions will be incredibly popular, if you book a slot and realise you can no longer make it, please cancel your appointment. This lets us give the slot to another family on our waiting list. Thank you for helping us keep things fair and accessible!

Behind every sling/carrier hire, reply to your message, fit check and advice at Northants & MK Sling Library is a team of passionate volunteers.

Right now, our wonderful team is doing the ultimate summer juggle—balancing their usual paid work, school holidays and family time. Because our volunteers are taking some well-deserved family time, we will have fewer library sessions running over the summer.

But we are still here for you!
Summer Sessions: Monday 10th in MK and Monday 17th in Moulton.
Postal Hire & Collection: Need a carrier? We’re still offering postal hires and collections. Just drop us a DM here or send us an email to arrange.
Free Hires: Our usual free hire scheme is still running and can be booked directly through our website.

Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate the summer holidays. We appreciate it!

Holiday season is upon us and we are getting increasing enquiries about hiring for trips!

Slings/carriers are so handy for travelling, both in the UK and abroad. Nothing worse than getting off a flight with a tired baby, toddler or child and having to get through to baggage claim! There's a sling for that!

Do get in touch if you'd like to hire for your day trip or holiday ❤️

** Safe airways **
It is absolutely vital that your baby has a clear, visible airway AT ALL TIMES when in any sling or carrier.

You MUST be able to see their face, ensure their chin is off their chest and that their face is completely free of any fabric. This is especially important for babies under 4 months, but applies at all ages and stages.

If you find that you cannot meet these safety aspects in your sling or carrier, please do contact us. Sometimes a small tweak really can help and we might be able to assist you with that immediately.
