Ive got ten minutes and I haven't posted for ages. Just had a really cool conversation with a parent who like myself has a child going through exams. We got into the weeds of how much revision they should be doing, time with friends, sleep, meal times etc and she asked "do i think she should be doing netball training tomorrow if shes got an exam the next day". My immediate answer was "well what does she want to do, does she feel shes ready for exam and yes exercise and spending time with her netball mates is a really good idea". I then said in the most cool dad down with the kids tech language said "lets ask AI"
It said
"Yes, exercising during exam season is highly important and beneficial. It serves as a crucial, active break that reduces stress, boosts energy levels, increases focus, and improves memory retention, ultimately leading to better academic performance. Regular, even light, exercise alleviates anxiety and helps you manage the pressures of studying"
So basically I was right.
Parents. I will never tell you how to do your job. We are all making it up as we go along anyway. But whilst you are sitting with your kids planning every toilet break between now and the end of exams maybe let them play a little. Its good for them. I promise. Im a professional and chat gbt said so

Happy 18th birthday to probably one of the most magical humans I've ever had the privilege of training. I have known his mum for years and she really is one of earth's good people. Jordan was it's fair to say a bit of a menace at school. He has his challenges and he's has had his troubles but he genuinely has been one of my greatest achievements in this job. Sometimes kids just need a a focus, someone to believe in them and more importantly someone who turns up week in week out and is genuinely invested in their journey. I called Jordan out on every single fib. We all make mistakes but accountability and facing up to the truth of your behaviour is one of the hardest things to do and its something he has excelled at. I'm beyond proud to have trained him and whatever he does he will be awesome at. All that said a warning to all road users he's learning to drive and ladies his chat up lines are awful

THIS IS MEGA!
I talk about process all the time. I talk about doing the bloody work all of the time and I talk about believing in your talent all the time.
This is a girl who believes in all 3. Absolutely magical achievement and I'm beyond proud that she has my name on her sleeve.
World Cup Gold medal doing something she loves. Look at that smile.
Erin you are an inspiration at such a young age.
What a great day! Come on England

Watching the man city players celebrating. If I could say anything to every single client I've ever trained. The reason they are so emotional is not because they won one game on one day at one moment. Its because they turned up every day from the age of their parents taking them to football school to be the best they could be. The only advice I ever give anyone is whatever you have GIVE IT. If you can do that in all facets of your life SUCCESS is yours

Hey guys. I've been very quiet on here this year. Honestly apart from being busy I've been a bit perplexed really with the world and struggling with humanity a bit.
I'm on holiday in an amazing place with my wife and my son. All the normal shenanigans are taking place. Too much sun. Not enough water. Skin factor 30 instead of 50+, burnt shoulders the lot.
I then realised I've lived this before. Many times in fact on every family holiday I can remember.
Walking back from the nights questionable entertainment which was probably highlighted by 3 American college kids singing karaoke together it made me think. We always use the phrase "remember when" like our best life has already been lived out. I'm doing it now thinking of all of these balcony moments I've spent playing cards with my family rather than writing this. I wonder when life is done which memories will be my "remember when" moments. The truth is when I was playing cards on many a balcony with my daughter my wife and my son or my mum my dad brother and sister I never really appreciated that moment could become a "remember when" time.
The last 3 years have been insane they really have but the one thing I've learned. Time can't be frozen or replaced. You have that moment now and tomorrow its a memory. It's gone.
Same for hard times. That hard time is now. But your tomorrow is not written yet.
You are your writer, editor and publisher of your own story. Make it yours and make it great

So
I haven't got a clue what these guys are talking about. Never do.
But this in it's most purest form is mental health management.
There are many many reasons for declining levels of happiness, energy levels, mental health and that's a far deeper conversation than a Facebook post BUT without a doubt we are a more isolated society these days.
We all know we should be exercising more, eating better and making more "me time". But like everything it takes a first step.
I have just been made aware we are coming up to international women's Day. These women despite their unbelievable ability to talk all day are truly some of the best humans I've ever had the pleasure of training and absolutely are the best representation of amazing women!
Have an amazing day!

Today I had two options
1) Go to a vision day. Learn from one of the very best on business growth, culture, accountability, team work, being better.
2) Take a day off and do nothing. Absolutely nothing. Take the dogs for a walk, eat some home cooked food on a plate and not out of a tupperware box, go for coffee, listen to music in kitchen and watch some sport.
I chose number 2. Sometimes it's the people around you who will actually say "mate take a day off". It's important to listen to those who love you and care genuinely about you. The strongest growing trees shed their leaves every year. Take time out occasionally your goals will be waiting for you to achieve tomorrow.
Much love
David

Life's about balance they say. Maybe.
Life's about achieving things they say. Maybe
Life's about family they say. Yes it is.
I think the whole life balance discussion gets lost on people. The scales of life will always tip one way or another the important part to remember is to tip them back.
I spent an absolute fortune in December. Ate to many chocolate coins and cheese and minus the odd dog walk didn't do much. So January isn't so much about resolutions it's more about tipping the balance back. Work is busy and really excited to be working with some amazing people and if I can do January right it takes my business to a whole different ball game. I'm back training. And I ate a salad.
This all part of repaying the balance.
The one thing that doesn't change. Never!
Is my why!
I have teenage kids so spend a lot of time disliking them massively. They push buttons that I didn't even know I had. But they are my heartbeat. Everyday. Now I'm going to go and play pool and have a drink with my son and no doubt get beat as he is the flukiest pool player in the milky way. This is on the back of a 1000000000 hour week. This is the definition of life balance and this I've worked on a lot.
Have a lovely weekend people.

Trained 3 children (under 16s) this week and all 3 have walked in with this.
