Harpole Day Nursery has officially become The Old Station Nursery Harpole, following a refurbishment that has brought fresh energy to a place where children have been learning, playing and growing for many years.

For families, there’s a new name and a fresh new look to discover, but at the heart of the nursery, the things that matter most remain the same: familiar faces, caring relationships and a team that knows that every child has their own way of exploring the world.

🌳🧸 Teddy Bears' Picnic – Friday 21st August! 🧺💛

We're so excited for our Teddy Bears' Picnic! We would love all children attending on Friday 21st August to bring along their favourite teddy to join in the fun.

We'll be enjoying a lovely picnic together with our friends, as well as lots of fun activities, songs, stories and teddy-themed adventures. We can't wait to meet all of your cuddly companions!

Please remember to pop your child's name on their teddy so they can be safely reunited at the end of the day. 🐻💕

You may have noticed a few exciting changes happening around our nursery over the past few months👀💚

We are delighted to share that Harpole Day Nursery is now officially The Old Station Nursery Harpole! 🧡

Our rebrand is almost complete, with our beautiful new interior now finished and our brand new signage proudly displayed outside the nursery. We couldn't be more excited about this new chapter and the wonderful identity it brings to our nursery.

While our name may have changed, one thing never will... our commitment to providing a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive💛

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your patience, understanding, and support during the building works and transformation. Your kindness has meant so much to our team.

We are incredibly excited to continue this journey with you all and can't wait to make even more wonderful memories together as The Old Station Nursery Harpole! ✨

🌈 Parachute Fun! 🌈
What a fantastic time we've had with our parachute today! 🎉 It may look like lots of fun (and it certainly is! 😄), but there's also so much learning taking place.
Our children have been developing their turn-taking, listening skills, and teamwork as they worked together to make the parachute move. They also enjoyed recognising and naming colours, while building their physical development through stretching, lifting, running and coordinating their movements.
Learning through play is always the best way! ❤️

🎨🖌️ Today our wonderful Preschool children got creative by painting their very own self-portraits! 🖼️✨

It was lovely to see each child exploring what makes them unique, choosing their own colours and carefully adding all the special details that make them who they are. 💛

Creating self-portraits helps children to: 🎨 Develop fine motor skills and pencil/paintbrush control 👀 Build observation and concentration skills 😊 Encourage self-awareness and confidence 💬 Develop language as they talk about themselves and their features 🌈 Express their creativity and individuality

🌈🥾 We’re Trekking Across the Rainbow! 🥾🌈

This summer, The Old Station Nursery is proudly taking part in Rainbow Trust’s “Trek Across the Rainbow” challenge! 💛

As a company, we’re aiming to walk an incredible 7,800 miles to help raise vital funds for families caring for a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Every mile we walk will help make a real difference to such an important cause. 🌈💕

Here at Harpole Day Nursery, we’ve set ourselves a challenge of walking 100 miles! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
Throughout the summer, our children and team will be taking part in lots of exciting weekly challenges to help us reach our goal while having lots of fun along the way.

🌟 You can keep track of our progress by checking out the Trek Across the Rainbow poster displayed on your child’s classroom door, where we’ll be updating our miles as we go!

If you would like to support this amazing charity, there is also an opportunity to donate. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help Rainbow Trust continue the incredible work they do supporting families when they need it most. 💛
