To our sister nursery Earls Barton Day Nursery you have a little delivery on your way.
We're excited to share that our preschoolers have begun a pen pal programme between the two nurseries! The children are writing letters, asking questions, and sharing stories with their friends from another location. This activity not only sparks their love for writing but also supports early literacy, social-emotional growth, and cultural awareness. Through crafting letters and drawing pictures, our little ones are learning to express themselves, develop patience, and understand different perspectives. This programme is a wonderful way to enhance their communication skills and broaden their global awareness.

Our preschool happily donated some books to the Roade village book point. Wanting to give back to our community, we invited the children to help choose which books from our collection they would like to share for other families to enjoy.

Today, we celebrated Sir David Attenboroughβs 100th birthday by creating a nature-inspired environment. We also engaged in a delightful discussion with the children about his remarkable life and contributions. For the past 70 years, Sir David has been a beloved voice in natural history documentaries, sparking curiosity about our world.
So, who is David Attenborough?
He is a renowned natural historian and broadcaster who has opened the eyes of millions to the incredible variety of animal life around the globe. He is also a passionate advocate for climate change awareness. Few individuals have had such a significant impact and adventure-filled life as Sir David.
We like to wish Sir David Attenborough a 100th birthday ππ»πͺ²π
