A day for our knights and princesses to celebrate what makes us English. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Our children enjoyed a banquet of cucumber sandwiches, strawberry and cream scones and sausage rolls, among other delicious treats!

🐣This week we have celebrated Easter early (before the Easter holidays). 🐣

The children have enjoyed many Easter themed activities across the week, and today we even had a very special visitor who led an Easter egg hunt! 🐰

Yesterday we had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day at nursery, especially as we have some lovely Irish children in our setting ☘️
The children enjoyed exploring a range of Irish-themed activities, getting fully involved in the day’s celebrations. Megan prepared a delicious feast of potato and leek soup, alongside fresh soda bread made by the children themselves, and tasty shamrock biscuits.
A fun, creative, and very yummy day for everyone!

What a wonderful day full of stories, imagination, and adventure!

The children loved watching our performance of The Gruffalo and taking part in lots of fun, creative activities throughout the day. They also each had the chance to choose a book from Orchard Book shop to take home.

It was fantastic to see everyone's amazing outfits and to hear all about their favourite stories!

Last week we celebrated Chinese New year across the nursery. The children explored many Chinese inspired activities and also enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal cooked by Megan our chef.

This week we are looking forward to celebrating all things ‘colour’ for the festival of Holi, followed by world book day on Thursday! We can’t wait to see everyone’s creative outfits!

Yesterday, across the nursery we celebrated pancake day. 🥞
Outside, we witnessed some super fast pancake racing, and loved watching the children try their hand at pancake flipping.
Inside they enjoyed pancake themed activities, stories, and of course eating!

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our nursery team. Applicants must be 17 years of age or older and available to work four days per week between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

We also welcome applications from Level 3 qualified practitioners (or above) who are seeking a nurturing and supportive environment in which to develop their career.

🍎Position 1: Apprentice Nursery Practitioner🍎

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our nursery team. Applicants must be 17 years of age or older and available to work four days per week between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

We also welcome applications from Level 3 qualified practitioners (or above) who are seeking a nurturing and supportive environment in which to develop their career.

🍎Position 2: 1:1 Key Worker (Term Time Only)🍎

We are recruiting a 1:1 Key Worker to provide dedicated support for a child who has been awarded 1:1 funding. This is a term-time only position for two days a week, with the possibility of a small number of paid ‘keep in touch’ days during the summer holidays.
