Orchard Day Nursery

A big shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Mr Alex for all you do behind the scenes to keep the nursery running smoothly. From fixing broken window handles to putting up gazebos and umbrellas in the gardens so the children have plenty of shade, to bringing out and putting away chairs and benches for our graduation ceremony – and that’s just a small snippet of everything you do. There are countless other jobs you take care of every single day!

We also hugely appreciate the thoughtful things you do for us, such as buying the staff lots of chocolate, biscuits and crisps each week to keep us fuelled!

Mr Alex also very kindly decided to grow the children their very own pumpkin patch and has been tending to it with love and care. Just look at how well it’s coming along! 😊🎃

We don’t know where we’d be without you, Mr Alex. We appreciate you so much!

After the success of Pre-schools lemonade making yesterday, they have deceived to make some more to sell to the parents tomorrow afternoon. Please note that we have brought the sale forward to 2:45pm as we are closing at 3pm. 🥤🍋

☀️🌊 We’re all set for the sunshine! 🌊☀️

Our children have been keeping cool, comfortable, and having lots of fun in the warm weather! 😎💦

This week, the children have enjoyed early morning water play in the nursery garden, making the most of the cooler temperatures and shady spots. 🌳💧

And the fun doesn’t stop there! 🍋 This afternoon, our Pre-School children will be putting their chef hats on and making their very own homemade lemonade. We can’t wait to hear what they think of their refreshing creations! 🧑‍🍳🥤

To help everyone stay comfortable throughout the day, all of our classrooms are air-conditioned, giving the children a cool and relaxing environment to enjoy after their outdoor adventures. ❄️😊

We hope that the parents at work are managing to stay as cool as us! 🤭
