Meet Mr White πΆ
Since 2015, Mr White has volunteered with Northamptonshire Carers, Carers supporting the Carers Choir and a range of music projects that bring people together through the power of music.
From accompanying performances and organising volunteer musicians to conducting concerts and composing original pieces for the choir, his contribution has helped create memorable experiences for Carers across the county. One of his proudest achievements is writing It Could Be Me Or You, an anthem for the charity, as well as leading a virtual choir project during lockdown to help people stay connected.
For Mr White, the most rewarding part is seeing Carers take centre stage, build confidence, form friendships and receive the recognition they deserve. Through music, he helps create moments of joy, community and celebration for people who spend so much of their lives caring for others.
Thank you, Mr White, for making such a positive difference. β€οΈ

Meet Mrs Miles & Lily πΎ
For the past 18 months, Mrs Miles and her miniature schnauzer, Lily, have volunteered with Pets As Therapy, visiting local schools, hospices and community events to bring comfort, companionship and smiles.
Inspired by the positive impact a PAT dog had on her mum during cancer treatment, Mrs Miles and Lily completed their training and now spend their time brightening the days of students, patients, staff and visitors alike.
A particular highlight was representing Pets As Therapy at Crufts this year.
If you see Lily around school, please come and say helloβbut remember to ask before stroking her!
Thank you, Mrs Miles and Lily, for making such a difference. β€οΈ

Volunteers' Week | 1β7 June
This week, we celebrate the incredible people who give their time, talents, and compassion to support others in our communities.
As a Catholic community, we are inspired by Saint Vincent de Paul, the patron saint of charitable societies and volunteers. His life reminds us that acts of service, no matter how small, can bring hope, dignity, and God's love to those in need.
Volunteering is more than giving timeβit is living out our faith through action, to serve one another with generosity and compassion.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers who make a difference every day in our schools, parishes, charities, and local communities.

On Wednesday this week, our Year 7 students gathered in the Auditorium for a beautiful and reflective Rosary.
During the service, students prayed the Joyful Mysteries, reflecting on moments from the early life of Jesus and the faith of Mary. All Year 7 students were also given their own rosary beads, helping them to take part fully in this special moment of prayer.
A huge thank you to our Faith Leaders, Worship Band and Choir students, who led the prayer and music with such reverence, confidence and maturity.
A lovely moment of faith, reflection and community during this month of May. ππΆ
