The Bunnies have been busy exploring and developing their fine motor skills through sensory play! ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒธ

The children enjoyed practising their filling and pouring skills in the water tray, carefully scooping, transferring and emptying water using a variety of containers. This activity helps to build hand eye coordination, concentration and early mathematical concepts.

We also had lots of fun investigating beautiful flowers frozen in ice. Using wooden hammers, the babies worked hard to break the ice and free the flowers, exploring different textures, temperatures and cause-and-effect as they played.

A wonderful activity full of discovery, problem solving and sensory exploration! โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’™

Potion Making Fun at Nursery! โœจ๐Ÿงช
Our little scientists had a fantastic time creating magical potions! The children enjoyed exploring different ingredients and discovering what happens when we mix things together.
As they stirred, poured, and combined their ingredients, they observed exciting chemical effects such as fizzing, bubbling, colour changes, and new textures. This hands on activity encouraged curiosity, problem solving and lots of discussion about what they could see happening.
Most importantly, the children had so much fun experimenting, making predictions, and using their imaginations to create their own magical concoctions! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ”ฎ
What a wonderful way to learn through play and exploration! โญ

๐Ÿ’šAt Woodleyโ€™s park, strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do.๐Ÿ’š

Our staff take the time to build special bonds with each child, helping them feel safe, valued, and confident. In line with the EYFS, we get to know each child's interests and use what they enjoy as inspiration for our activities and learning experiences.

By following the children's lead, we create engaging opportunities that spark curiosity, support development, and make learning fun every day. ๐ŸŒŸ

โœจ One of those wonderful nursery moments... โœจ

The babies are all sound asleep, tea has been cleared away, the room is tidy, and for a brief moment there's a sense of calm across the Baby Room. ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿงธ

It doesn't happen every day, but when it does, it's definitely worth celebrating! ๐Ÿ˜Š

This week, our toddlers have been getting creative alongside their peers, exploring painting with a variety of different creative tools to create prints and patterns. ๐ŸŽจ๐ŸซŸ

The children have shown great interest in painting their own hands and the hands of their grown-ups, creating special keepsake prints together. To add even more to our creative activity, we added some dinosaurs and used them them to make some dinosaur footprints in the paint!๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿฆ•

It has been wonderful to see the children use their imagination by expressing themselves through art, developing their creativity, and having lots of messy fun along the way.

๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ Open for Business! ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ

Our Baby Room has been busy transforming the home corner into a beautiful flower shop! ๐Ÿ’

The Bunnies have enjoyed recognising and talking about different colours while creating their own wonderful bouquets. They have also been developing their imaginative play skills by taking on the roles of florist and customer, using the till to buy and sell their flowers. ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ›’

Through this fun role play experience, the children have been building their communication, social, and early maths skills while having lots of fun exploring colours and creativity.

We are so proud of our little florists and the beautiful bouquets they have made! ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

There is nothing more special than watching friendships begin to blossom in our Baby Room. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘ถ

The Bunnies enjoyed spending time together, sharing smiles, babbles, toys, and precious moments of connection. Through these everyday interactions, they are learning important social skills such as communication, turn-taking, kindness, and understanding others.

Whether sitting side by side, exploring together, or sharing a giggle, these special friendships help build confidence, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of belonging.

We love seeing our babies form such lovely bonds and create memories together as they learn and grow. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’ฆ Water Play Fun with Miss Jade ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒธ

Miss Jade and the babies enjoyed a wonderful sensory water play activity with a beautiful flower-themed water tray. The babies explored the water using a variety of different utensils, scooping, pouring, and splashing as they investigated how the water moved and flowed in different ways.

As they poured water from one container to another, they watched with curiosity and excitement, developing their understanding of cause and effect while strengthening their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. The colourful flowers added an extra sensory element, encouraging the babies to engage their senses and explore through play.

It was lovely to see so many smiles, focused faces, and moments of discovery as the babies experimented and learned together. Well done, everyone! ๐ŸŒผโœจ
