At the weekend many of our students put on a fabulous performance for their family and friends. They worked incredibly hard and shone in every aspect throughout. Their commitment didn't just shine on stage but off too, many working with the props, quick changes and music.

We also had so much wonderful kindness with the help of chaperones and prop builders and movers. The support that the children give to each other definitely reflects the support that their grown ups and siblings give too.

I hope all the children had the best time and are super proud of themselves.

I must admit, I am super embarrassed to say that I do not have any photos to even reflect the children's hard work and dedication to their performance. Usually I take photos and pictures galore. Thankfully, I was sent a couple of photos which I have attached but this post is definitely long over due!

Forever proud of you all!

Today many of our students attended a comp in Bedford which was very different to the ones they usually participate in. The atmosphere and structure was beyond their norm but they stepped out of their comfort zone and gave it their all. The children were all amazing and are all really proud of themselves. I don’t personally post the students results at comps or exams (I share if tagged) and I don’t share pictures of their awards either unless they collect or choose to hold it themselves. I have a secret rule of ‘highlighting the child and their achievement and not the trophy or their placement’ as comps are exceedingly subjective. Just my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of the students for all working so hard and pushing themselves and they deserve the trophy’s and medals they received. However this one is the one I’m most proud of so will definitely be sharing. Towards the end of the comp, the organisers announced an award which they hadn’t planned on giving out but that a certain quality had been recognised throughout the day. They announced an award was going to be given to a school where the students had sat and watched each routine beautifully, they had shown kindness and been courteous in all their actions as well as every student had been exceedingly polite and well mannered. If you know me well, you know that behaviour is everything! Receiving a trophy for a specific routine is amazing, but receiving a trophy for being kind is worth so much more, in my opinion, as that shows the people they are- not just what they can do. Little friends, I’m so proud of you 💕 spread kindness, love and care wherever you go xx

Today, fourteen of the girls went to the Corby Cube to participate in N Dance. This in an event held to celebrate youth dance and choreography across Northamptonshire. The girls had three short rehearsals after their Tuesday classes to quickly teach them into the piece. Just 48 hours ago we found out that Ella- Mae who had worked so hard was unable to participate due to illness 😔 which we were gutted about and wish her a speedy recovery. Tayo jumped in late last night and was quickly taught by Victoria into the piece. An incredible act of team work! Thank you girls.

Due to the studio being open today. Ria and Kaylee kindly chaperoned the girls at the theatre, whilst I stayed at the studio. And from the stories I was told upon arrival, just 30 minutes before the show, it sounds like they had made fabulous memories and of course, had worked exceedingly hard too! I love that the first thing they wanted to show me were their matching toys that they had all gone and purchased together. Their relationship and comfortability in being themselves is truly beautiful to watch.

The girls performed their piece wonderfully, they evacuated sensibly when the fire alarm went off mid show and of course got super excited over the balloons. Thank you for a fabulous evening. I hope you always know how loved and proud of you I am 💕

A massive congratulations to Elsie. Elsie is one of the most determined 10 year olds you could meet. She independently entered herself into the National Youth Monologue Competition, which had over 4,000 entries and has made it to the five finalists for screen acting monologue from the North Region for KS2. This means Elsie will be heading to Crewe on the 17th of May to compete with her performance. Elsie, I am forever proud of you 💕

Appreciation post for the Neverland children 💕

Yesterday was the 3rd time this routine was performed. The characters and lost boys have swapped each time based on availability. Yesterday we had all 5 lost boys which allowed them to be in their original positions, however a slight mix up meant the youngest bunch (girls in red) ran on and when arriving at their side of the stage, they randomly changed position.

I stated this as I stood at the door and the organiser asked if they’d be okay. I didn’t know, so responded with ‘we’ll soon find out’. I watched in admiration as they ran on in line, running to a place they’d never, ever been in before and continued to transition to each others positions through the entire dance. Anyone watching would never have known.

When they came off they were disappointed with themselves as they got the order muddled but these girls couldn’t quite understand why they did something even more amazing and that I was more proud of them than ever. They calmly used their initiative and solved the problem faultlessly. A fabulous little bunch 💕

P.s they are interacting with each other in the screen shot, not just looking at each other lost 🤣

A massive congratulations to all the students who competed yesterday 💕 the day was split into three sections:
Morning- junior groups, solos and duos
Afternoon- pre- inter and inter solos, duos and trios
Evening- senior solos, duos and groups.
Each student gave it their absolute all and we couldn’t be more proud of them. It was a long day, but so so worth it to watch them shine ✨

The students had a lovely surprise this evening as Harrison very recently completed his contract on the cruise ships and came into the studio to see them!

It was especially nice for both Ethan and Will, who had a fabulous male role model to show their work to this evening. Harry even jumped in himself!

A fabulous inspiration, thank you for coming to see us 💕
