Well done to James Gedny who completed his solo qualifying cross country flight today in AT-3 G-SBRK. 👊

James' routing took him from Sywell Aerodrome to Gloucestershire Airport and Leicester Airport before returning to Sywell via Deenethorpe Aerodrome's overhead.

We would today on their last day of operation like to offer a heartfelt thanks to all those at Coventry Airport for the wonderful service they have provided. ✈

Their FISOs always go out of their way to ensure that our students and aircraft smoothly transit the Coventry area and are always welcoming when we visit.

Yesterday, we organised a group flight for our last ever trip to Coventry before it closes today after over 90 years. We were welcomed in to the tower for a tour and took a last look around the airfield before returning to Sywell.

An emotional day for all and we wish everyone at Coventry all the best. Thank you. ✈
