Our second Early Years Network event was a fantastic success!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Pineham Barns Primary School for another inspiring Early Years Network meeting.

Shaped by feedback from our first event, this session explored how effective outdoor provision can enhance children's wellbeing, engagement and achievement. The group shared ideas and examples of how outdoor environments can inspire curiosity, independence and meaningful learning.

More than just professional development, the aim of the Early Years Network is about connecting with colleagues, sharing best practice and supporting one another.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a valuable afternoon. We look forward to continuing to grow this supportive network and welcoming you to our next meeting later this year.

While it's always exciting to celebrate our winners, today was about so much more than medals. Every child who took part embodied the values of the Preston Hedges Trust, showing resilience, respect, sportsmanship and a willingness to challenge themselves. Whether they stood on the podium or simply gave their very best, every participant should be immensely proud.

Congratulations to every pupil and member of staff who made the event such a memorable success. We are incredibly proud of all our children and the way they represented their schools.

A huge congratulations to everyone at Holne Chase Primary on being awarded 1st place at today's West Bletchley Parish Council Carnival!

This fantastic achievement is a wonderful reflection of the creativity, enthusiasm and community spirit that make Holne Chase such a fantastic school.

Thank you to all of the children, families and staff who gave their time, energy and support to make the day such a success.

It is wonderful to see the school community coming together and creating such memorable experiences for the children.

We are delighted to celebrate this inspiring display from Parklands Primary School, beautifully curated in partnership with The Creation Station HQ. Every child has designed their own unique feather, bringing together these magnificent school wings.

This collaborative artwork brings Parklands' Roots & Wings vision to life. By encouraging children to reflect on the strong foundations they are building through belonging, curiosity, independence and a love of learning, the display also inspires them to consider the aspirations that will carry them forward into the wider world.

As each individual feather combines to create something even more powerful, the display beautifully represents the Parklands community and our Trust's shared commitment to ensuring every child is supported to flourish, pursue their aspirations and fulfil their potential.

As our schools prepare to welcome their new Reception children to our Trust this September, they are helping to make the beginning of each child's school journey even more memorable.

At Parklands Primary School each new reception child has received a special gift pack, including a storybook about starting school and a heartfelt legacy letter written by our current Year 6 pupils, who are preparing to begin the next chapter of their own education.

These thoughtful letters are a wonderful example of the caring community that makes our Trust so special, passing on words of encouragement and excitement from one generation of pupils to the next.

Across our Trust, we believe every child should experience fun, creativity, and achievement every day. We can't wait to welcome our newest learners in September and begin this exciting journey together.

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of the Year 5/6 girls from Preston Hedges Primary School, who enjoyed a fantastic experience at Northampton Saints.

The pupils were given a tour of the stadium, had the exciting opportunity to wave the players off on their journey to Twickenham, and then took to the field themselves to showcase some exceptional rugby. Demonstrating great skill, teamwork and determination, the team won all six of their matches to finish as league champions.

Throughout the day, the girls embodied the values that we strive to nurture across our Trust. They were excellent ambassadors for their school, displaying respect, resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship at every opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the way they represented both Preston Hedges Primary School and the wider Trust. Congratulations to all involved on a truly memorable and successful day.

Today, Parklands Primary School's Year 5 and 6 NFL Flag Football team are competing in the 2026 NFL Flag Football National event in Manchester, following an incredible unbeaten season.

In their first ever year of competition, the team has progressed through both local and regional tournaments without losing a game, earning their place amongst the very best school teams in the country.

This achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork and determination shown by every player, as well as the commitment of Miss Charles, Miss Walsh, Marcel from Northants Ducks, and the families who have supported them throughout their journey.

Everyone at Parklands Primary School and Preston Hedges Trust is immensely proud of what the team has already achieved.

We wish them the very best of luck as they represent our school on the national stage today.
