Therapist. Coach. Human
For women who lose themselves in everyone else
Selfish isn't a dirty word.

Every life you're inspired by belongs to someone who risked failing anyway. ✨

There’s something powerful about using a moment of transition as a chance to consciously release what you’ve outgrown.

The patterns.
The self-doubt.
The people-pleasing.
The version of you that learned to shrink, overgive or stay where you no longer felt aligned.

Whether you see the eclipse as cosmic energy or simply a beautiful reminder to pause and reflect, you can use it as a symbolic reset.

Ask yourself:

What am I ready to stop carrying?
Who am I becoming?
What would she choose?

You don't have to become someone completely new.

Sometimes you just have to stop abandoning the woman you already are. 🌑✨

1. You’re both careful about what you say because you don’t want to upset the other person, instead of feeling safe enough to be honest about your needs and feelings.

2. You avoid certain topics because you already know where the conversation will go, instead of feeling able to talk through problems or voice differing opinions.

3. You constantly monitor each other’s moods, instead of feeling relaxed enough to just be yourselves.

4. You apologise quickly just to stop the tension, instead of being able to work through conflict.

5. You call it keeping the peace when you’re actually both scared of conflict, instead of feeling safe enough to disagree.

A healthy relationship should have room for honesty, disagreement and difficult conversations.

You shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells to keep your relationship peaceful. ☀️🌙✨

One of the most exhausting things about anxiety and people-pleasing is constantly trying to figure out what everyone else is thinking.

Are they annoyed with me?
Did I say something wrong?
Why are they being quiet?
Do they secretly hate me?

And suddenly you're analysing their tone, replaying conversations and trying to manage emotions that aren't even yours.

But here's the thing,
You are allowed to let people be responsible for themselves.
You don't have to read minds.
You don't have to investigate every change in someone's mood.
You don't have to rush in and fix a problem that hasn't actually been communicated to you.

If someone has an issue with you, they're capable of telling you.
And if they choose not to?
That's their responsibility, not yours.

You can care about people without monitoring them.
You can be considerate without constantly checking whether you're ok with everyone.
And you can let someone have a feeling without immediately deciding that feeling is your fault.

Sometimes self-trust is letting go of being the manager of other people
And then getting the f**k on with your day.

Hope isn’t about forcing yourself to be positive when life feels like s**t.

It’s not pretending you’re fine.
It’s not ignoring what hurts.
And it definitely doesn’t mean you have to know how things will get better.

From a therapy perspective, hope can be much quieter than that.

Sometimes hope is simply the decision to stop treating the present moment as proof of your future.

You can be struggling and still believe things can change.
You can be exhausted and still believe there are better days ahead.
You can have no idea what comes next and still leave the door open for something different.

You don't need certainty to have hope.

Sometimes you just need enough self-trust to say:

"I don't know how yet… but this isn't necessarily where my story ends."

Save this for the days when your brain is trying to convince you that how things are is how they'll always be. 🤍

Stop chasing people who only notice your worth when you're gone. Know when your presence is a gift.

Healing doesn't usually come from one tiny habit, it comes from changing the story you believe about yourself. ✨

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause before you push through. Save this for the moments you need to come back to yourself. 🤍✨

03/08/2026

Not everyone has to understand your choices. The people who matter won't ask you to abandon yourself to make them comfortable. 🤍

Your peace deserves a seat at every decision you make. If it costs you who you are, the answer is already no. 🤍✨
