One subject. Two completely different studies. 🎨◼️

First, our young artist recreated the composition using the Grid Method, carefully transferring the image square by square to achieve accurate proportions.

Then he created the same artwork twice: one in colour and one in black & white. Both paintings were cut into sections and rearranged to create this striking final composition.

A creative exercise in observation, proportion, colour, tonal values and composition, all brought together in one artwork.

Art is not only about painting. It’s about learning how to see. 👁️🎨

Finding Inspiration 🎨

Creativity is something we are all born with, but just like any skill, it grows with practice, patience and guidance.

At ArtHouse, we encourage our students not only to learn how to draw and paint, but to observe, explore, find inspiration and develop their own creative voice. ✨

Inspired by a passage from The Everything Art Handbook.
