🪔 Celebrating Diwali Together – A Special Thank You one of Our Parents! 🪔

As part of our Diwali celebrations in Early Years, we’ve had the joy of welcoming some of our wonderful parents into the setting to share this special festival with us. 🌟

Parents joined us to:
📚 Read Diwali-themed stories
🎶 Share songs and traditions from home
💬 Talk about how their families celebrate
🖌️ Support rangoli -making activities

The children were so excited to listen, learn, and take part — it was a beautiful example of partnership between home and nursery, enriching our learning and celebrating our diverse community. 🫶

This week, our preschool children have been exploring the beautiful Festival of Lights – Diwali! 🌟

Through stories, songs, creative play, and colourful art activities, children have been learning about:
🎆 The meaning of light over darkness
📖 The story of Rama and Sita
🎨 Creating vibrant rangoli patterns
👗 Dressing up in traditional clothes

Celebrating Diwali helps our children understand different cultures, build respect for others, and enjoy shared traditions through hands-on experiences. ❤️
