These photographs were taken at our Summer Carnival, in the summer before our current Year 11 students joined us.

They were about to begin.

Five years later, with GCSE results day almost here, we found ourselves looking back at the young people who walked through our doors that summer and thinking about everything that has happened since.

From that first summer at NSG to this one. 💜

For some of our Year 10 students, Thursday brings an early glimpse of GCSE Results Day.

Students who have completed GCSE Statistics and/or a Home Language GCSE will receive their results this week, a year ahead of receiving their full set of GCSE results in 2027.

We know that waiting for any result brings a mixture of anticipation and nerves, so we are thinking of you as Thursday approaches.

Good luck, Year 10. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating this important milestone with you.

Results can be collected from school from 8.30am on Thursday 20 August.

To our Year 11 students: this is your moment. 💜

We’ll be here for all of it.

So proud of our Year 13 students today. Behind every result is a story and a journey, and it has been a privilege to watch this year group reach such an important milestone. Congratulations to every one of you, and wherever your next step takes you, go with confidence.

WORLD U20 SILVER FOR NSG ALUMNA SAVANNAH! 🇬🇧

Huge congratulations to former NSG student Savannah, who has won silver at the World Athletics U20 Championships, representing Great Britain in the Mixed 4x100m relay.

And what a performance: a new British U20 record! 🇬🇧

It is always incredibly special to see an NSG alumna flourishing on the international stage - we could not be prouder. 💜

To our Year 13 students

A week today, you will be collecting your A Level results.

We know that many of you will already be thinking about what happens next. Coming into school on Thursday 13 August means that you will be able to speak directly with staff who know you and understand your plans.

Our Sixth Form and senior leadership teams will be available to help with university places, Clearing, apprenticeships and any other questions about your next steps. Even when everything has gone as expected, it can be useful to have someone there to check the details and help you decide what you need to do next.

We will share the collection arrangements and further information next Wednesday. Please look out for that update, and we hope to see you in school on Results Day.

A fantastic achievement for our NSG Debate Team, who competed against some of the very best young debaters from across the country.

Reaching a national final is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the careful preparation and intellectual curiosity these students have shown throughout the competition.

They represented NSG with distinction, and we could not be prouder. We look forward to receiving the results back in a few weeks time. 🌟

🇪🇸 The first photos from our Spanish trip have arrived!

Everything is going brilliantly so far. It’s certainly hot, but absolutely wonderful, and our students have been superstars from the moment we arrived. ☀️🇪🇸
