It is with a very heavy heart that for various reasons I have made the decision to hang up my Cook Stars apron for the last time. Cook Stars classes will finish with immediate effect. All current customers have been emailed and any refunds due are being arranged this week. Also all monthly subscriptions currently in place will be cancelled. Please check Franscape accounts for confirmation of this.

Thank you for all your support over the past 4.5 years and I truly hope all the children who have passed my way continue to cook. Sarah x

If you’ve been thinking about joining our classes but are juggling other commitments too, you can "send a friend" the weeks have paid for but can't attend.

This means that you share the weeks that you cannot attend with your friend, and split the cost between you. This is also great if you have siblings that could alternate each week, so it’s not double the cost!

If you can't make it, your friend can attend a session instead – you just need to let us know beforehand, so we can welcome them properly and are prepared for any allergen/medical needs.

The children use so many skills each week at class. Our recipes vary in complexity, but even when we're making something easier they learn SO much.

For example, they will likely be weighing, planning, developing fine motor skills, trying or perfecting new equipment (eg. grater / peeler), learning where food comes from, learning about new ingredients and expanding their palate, practicing sharing, practicing working independently, developing their maths, science, reading and language skills, problem solving....I could go on!

It takes a lot for them to achieve the amazing dishes they create each week. It really is some accomplishment, and I'm sure you are very proud of your children. I certainly am!
