🚨 Important information 🚨
Hello everyone, I am writing this message with a level of guilt and stress I have not experienced before.
As many of you are aware, I had plans to travel over Christmas and new year leaving on Monday 22nd. As much trip has approached, there has been a huge amount of flight cancellations with my airline, with all flights this week being cancelled. People are reporting being stuck at the airport with no options apart from to ‘go home’ or new flights days later with stupid layovers.
At midnight last night, my airline wouldn’t not confirm whether my flight would or wouldn’t leave and many reposts stated that people wouldn’t find out until stood at the gate after check in. So late last night I had to make a decision. Change flights and go with a different airline or risk spending Christmas in some random airport alone.
With much research only one option seemed logical, and that was to book a last minute flight and travel to Manchester airport with only 3 hours sleep.
There for I will be away from now , until the beginning of January. This does mean classes turn sooner in the new year than originally planned.
What does this mean to classes and courses this week.
Tonight - cancelled
Thursday - cancelled
Friday - 2 hours as normal with association instructors (thank you for helping me) this is where students can pick up karate suits , tracksuits and gloves.
Sundays Christmas Camp - rescheduled to January 11th. If you can’t make this new date, a refund can be given once i return.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused and I feel tremendous guilt. I write this exhausted, miserable , probably missing everything important from my suitcase, but actually on a plane that isn’t cancelled.
Please forgive me for last minute changes… we will start the new year STRONG as a team!
Kind regards
Sensei James

Dear Students and Parents,
Attention to all students who train more than once a week.
As of this coming Monday (27th June) all extra classes must be registered at every venue with payment for extra classes via cash ONLY on the night , not afterwards.
This must be done at every extra class for the foreseeable future.
Since covid there has become to many different payment methods and it has become a nightmare to control. Therefore this method will make life easier for the JS Karate Team to keep a track of how many sessions students are doing alongside lesson fees.
Our monthly payment methods for one lesson a week for all students is NOT changing, only for those that attended more than one class.
Extra class on same night £3
Extra classes at different venue £5
Competition training £5
Any students doing 2 venues a week can attend any other venue for FREE. Excluding competition training.
Kind regards
Sensei James and the JS Karate Team
