🎶 National Music Day 🎶

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Cleveland Police Community Band into our nursery to celebrate national music day.

Our children began making musical instruments last week with recycled materials to join in with the band. We sang twinkle twinkle, heads shoulders knees and toes, Miss Polly, wheels on the bus, 1,2,3,4,5.

Throughout nursery, music is valued not only as a creative activity but also as a powerful tool that supports learning across all areas of development, helping children grow into confident, engaged, and expressive learners.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the band who performed for us, this was a great experience for all of our children.

This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety for our team, customers, and visitors. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their dedication, attention to detail, and continued focus on creating a safe and secure environment.

Safety is always our priority, and we’re proud that our efforts have been recognised through this excellent inspection result.

Evie has joined us this week for her Year 10 work placement. It has been lovely to have her, she’s a total natural with our children and we hope to see her back soon!

You have brought great energy, asked brilliant questions, and got stuck into every task. We hope you enjoyed your placement as much as we enjoyed having you here.

On the week of 8th June we will be holding our very own “The Wise Owls Olympics” all week to raise money for our Defibrillator.

A Defibrillator is a vital piece of equipment that will aid us in providing lifesaving treatment if we ever need it. This defib machine will be on offer to the wider public as well as nursery.

We have sponsorship forms for your children if they haven’t already got one. They will have the opportunity to take part in lots of fantastic sporty events all week long.
