A final farewell!
It's been an absolute joy to share the last ten years at Leeming. My grateful thanks to everyone who has been a part of this journey. And what a way to end, a very special day today, and even a flight over the school!
I will miss Leeming so much - thank you all.

What a way to end the school year! 💙

Today was never about making money. It was about bringing everyone together to celebrate our amazing school community – our fantastic children, our brilliant staff, our supportive families and, of course, Mr Campbell, as he celebrates 10 incredible years leading Leeming RAF Community Primary School and helping it become the wonderful community it is today. 🩵💙🤍

Seeing so many smiling faces, children having fun and everyone enjoying the event made all the hard work worthwhile.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, volunteered, donated, ran a stall, helped behind the scenes or simply joined in the fun. You all played a part in making it such a fantastic fair. 🥳

We currently have capacity to accept one-to-one referrals into our Little Troopers Therapy Programme.

This programme is available to children from Reception to Year 13 who have one or both parents currently serving in the Regular or Reserve British Armed Forces.

This isn't generic therapy. It's a structured programme of six military-specific talking therapy sessions, delivered face to face by trained therapists who understand the unique experiences of military childhood.

The first three sessions focus on:
💚 Emotional Literacy
💚 Change and Transitions
💚 Relationships and Connection

The remaining three sessions are tailored to the individual child and may cover topics such as:
• Building connections and making friends
• Deployment and reunion
• Family dynamics
• Moving house or school
• Separation anxiety
• Identity

If you feel your military child could benefit and is currently experiencing challenges linked to military life, we'd encourage you to consider making a referral.

We accept referrals directly from families, as well as from schools, community workers, welfare teams and healthcare professionals.

🌟 EYFS & KS1 Sports Day Success! 🌟

What a fantastic afternoon we had celebrating our EYFS and KS1 Sports Day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are incredibly proud of every single child who took part. From the races and challenges to the teamwork, determination and encouragement shown throughout the event, our children demonstrated outstanding sporting spirit. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, children giving their very best, and classmates cheering one another on every step of the way.

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for providing refreshments and much-appreciated ice lollies for the children. Your support helped make the day even more special and was greatly appreciated by everyone involved. 🍦💙

Well done to all of our EYFS and KS1 pupils for a wonderful Sports Day and thank you to our families for coming along to support and celebrate the children's achievements.

🌟 Celebrating Our School Council! 🌟

As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, we'd like to say a huge thank you to our amazing School Council for their hard work, dedication and commitment to making our school an even better place.

Throughout the year, they have been true ambassadors for our school, representing their classmates, listening to ideas, supporting their peers and helping to bring about meaningful change. From improving our reading shed and helping to develop exciting breaktime activities, to supporting fundraising projects and representing our school beautifully, they have made a real difference to our school community.

To celebrate all they have achieved, the School Council enjoyed a special celebratory lunch together. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise their teamwork, leadership and the positive impact they have had throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of every member of our School Council. Thank you for your enthusiasm, kindness and dedication. You have truly helped make this year a great success! 💙👏
