A few reminders for this week:

⭐️ Our Easter assembly will take place at 1:15pm on Thursday 26th March in the KS2 hall. Please join us if you can.
⭐️ School will finish at 2pm on Thursday, with all children being dismissed from the KS2 site (except children in The Hive who arrive by taxi)
⭐️ There will be no after-school club on this day.
⭐️ School is closed for an INSET day on Friday 27th March.
⭐️ We return to school after the holidays on Monday 13th April.

🥕 Food Makers Club 🍓

This week the children enjoyed making healthy crudités with a selection of different vegetables and dips, as well as delicious mini pavlovas for dessert.

They chopped sensibly and carefully while preparing the vegetables, and were brilliant at trying different dips and tasting new flavours. For the pavlovas, the children whisked the cream and even held the bowl over their heads to check that it was firm enough — very brave! 😄

They then decorated their pavlovas with jam, cream, raspberries and chocolate, creating some very tasty treats.

The girls shocked Mrs Kelly by washing and drying all of the dishes too! What a treat!

The children left empty-handed this week… only because they had eaten everything up! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

🧁 Food Makers Club 🥐
This week the children made delicious ham and cheese croissants and decorated some lovely Mother’s Day cupcakes. 💐
They carefully cut their croissants, spread their chosen spreads and picked their fillings before enjoying their tasty creations. The children also had lots of fun decorating their cupcakes - mixing, spreading, sprinkling and drawing with icing to make them extra special!
There was lots of creativity, concentration and excitement in the room. Well done to all of our fantastic Food Makers! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

A big thank you to TG Jones in Northallerton, for kindly donating their leftover World Book Day books to our school! 📚✨

Thanks to their generosity, these wonderful books have found a new home with our pupils, helping to inspire a love of reading and giving more children the chance to enjoy a great story.
