πWe hope you all have a fantastic Summer Holidayπ
This afternoon, Year 6 took to the stage for their leavers' assembly and it was a lovely way to end the year. Afterwards, staff and pupils formed a guard of honour to cheer them out of the building.
Year 6, you've been brilliant and should be incredibly proud of everything you have achieved during your time at Alverton. We wish you lots of luck for Secondary School.
School reopens on Tuesday 8th September!

"Nursery had such a fantastic morning on our end of year trip to Crazy Kingdom yesterday, all the children explored and had a go on all of the soft play. The slide caused lots of laughter as it had definitely been polished before our arrival so we all sped down it, adults included! The children all showed kindness to each other and most importantly had lots of fun. What a great end to the year everyone! πππ
Thank you to Romanby Minibuses for transporting us there, and thank you to Crazy Kingdom for hosting us and for the delicious buffet lunch & ice cream."

As we head into our last week together, we wanted to share our final days from Year 6 and say a heartfelt thank you to the fantastic local businesses and people in our community who helped make some very special memories. β¨
Firstly, a huge thank you to Shawarma House for the most delicious food on the day of our leavers' production of Romeo and Juliet. The children were born stars on the stage, and who knows... maybe Broadway next! ππ
A massive thank you also to Everyman Cinema for being so accommodating and welcoming as we celebrated our end-of-year trip. From the fantastic film to the popcorn and a few cheeky sweets, the children had an amazing time and made memories they'll never forget. πΏπ¬
To KingPin Bowl & Hustlers Sports Bar, thank you for going the extra mile to make our visit so enjoyable. You really helped us strike the perfect end-of-year celebration and made sure everyone had a ball! π³
A huge thank you to Katch Northallerton for providing fantastic meals and treating the children to free ice creams. We were especially grateful that you went above and beyond to organise a dairy-free sorbet so every child could enjoy the celebration together. Your kindness meant so much. π¦
Finally, a special thank you to Mrs Burns for adding to our ice cream selection as well as providing ice cream cones for the children too. Your kindness and generosity is always greatly appreciated.
It has been truly heartwarming to see the incredible support we've received from our local community. Thank you to everyone who helped make these final Year 6 memories so special. It really shows what it means to be part of the Alverton family.
From all of us in Oak Class, thank you so much! β€οΈ

πβ¨ Oak Class had a fantastic day at Nissan!
The children took part in a LEGO competition to build the tallest tower without connecting the bricks. They also enjoyed coding and controlling robots using iPads, putting their programming skills to the test. π€π±
