Tomorrow marks an important milestone for our Year 11 students as they collect their GCSE results.

• A-G: 9:00am
• H-P: 9:30am
• Q-Y: 10:00am

Students wishing to join our Sixth Form should attend registration that morning for Level 2 and Level 3 pathways. This applies to both current Northallerton School students and those joining us from other schools.

To our Year 11 students: you have worked exceptionally hard and shown tremendous perseverance throughout your studies. Whatever your results, we are proud of you and all that you have achieved. We look forward to celebrating your successes and supporting you in the next stage of your education.

🎓 Celebrating Success at Northallerton Sixth Form College 🎓

We're not quite sure who was happier yesterday morning...

📚 Ben Gilby was delighted to achieve an A* in History, celebrating alongside Dr Royal, Head of History and Associate Assistant Headteacher, who has also been one of Ben's History teacher throughout his Sixth Form journey. A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved reward for all of Ben's hard work. Ben is now looking forward to starting a Degree Apprenticeship with Walter Thompson.

⭐ Also pictured is William Sanderson with Mrs Repath, Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form, after achieving an outstanding Distinction in Applied Business, Distinction in Media and an A in PE. William is taking a gap year before pursuing the next stage of his education and career.

We are incredibly proud of both students and all they have achieved during their time with us. We wish them every success as they embark on their exciting next chapters.

🎉 A Level Results Day 2026 🎉

There was a wonderful atmosphere in Northallerton School this morning as our Year 13 (and some Y14) students collected their A Level results and celebrated the next stage of their journey.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved through their hard work, determination and resilience. It has been a pleasure to see so many smiling faces as students shared their successes with friends, families and staff.

We are delighted that 85% of our students have secured their first-choice university place, opening the door to exciting opportunities ahead.

Congratulations to every one of our students. We wish you all the very best for the future and look forward to hearing about your continued success. 🎓

🔨🌳 Community Welcome – Introduction to Woodworking! 🌳🔨

Are you interested in learning new practical skills, meeting new people, and giving back to the local community?

Northallerton School is delighted to invite members of our local community to join our Community Outreach Project: Introduction to Woodworking.

First Project: Build a Bird Box Learn to use tools safely, develop woodworking techniques, and create something to take home while supporting local wildlife. Or donate the finished project to our Memorial Garden?

And just like that, another fantastic year comes to an end!

Thank you to all of our students, staff, parents and carers for your support throughout the year. We have celebrated so many successes, created lasting memories and achieved great things together as a school community.

🏆☀️ Year 12 End of Year Sports Day ☀️🏆

Our Year 12 students enjoyed a fantastic end-of-year Sports Day on Tuesday afternoon, celebrating a successful academic year together with plenty of fun, teamwork and friendly competition. 🎉🤝🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Students took part in rounders and frisbee before testing their skills in a range of traditional races, including the egg and spoon race 🥚🥄, wheelbarrow race 🏃‍♂️🤝🏃‍♀️, sack race 🏃‍♂️🛍️ and three-legged race 👣👣. There was lots of determination, laughter and support on display throughout the afternoon! 😄👏💪

The day finished with a whole-year-group tug of war 🪢, bringing everyone together for a memorable final event and showcasing the brilliant team spirit that exists within our Sixth Form. 💙🙌

To keep cool in the warm weather, students also enjoyed an ice lolly 🍦☀️ while spending time with friends and celebrating the end of the year. 😎🌞

A huge well done to all of our Year 12 students for getting involved and making the afternoon such a success. 🎉👏🏅

🎉🌟 Congratulations to the first four students this year to successfully complete their Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award! 🏅👏

To achieve this fantastic milestone, students completed their Physical, Skills and Volunteering sections, as well as demonstrating outstanding resilience, determination and teamwork during their qualifying expedition earlier this term. 🚶‍♀️🥾🏕️💪

This is a significant achievement and reflects the commitment, perseverance and positive attitude shown by each student throughout their DofE journey. 🌟🙌

📢 Community Christmas Fair – Expression of Interest

We know this is very early, but we'd like to gauge interest from the local community in taking part in a future Northallerton School Christmas Fair.

School departments and enrichment clubs will be running a variety of stalls to raise funds for the school, and we would also like to invite local businesses, crafters, and community groups to have a stall.

🎄 School stalls: Funds raised will go directly towards supporting school activities and resources.

🛍️ Community/business stalls: Stallholders will pay a small table fee and keep all proceeds from their sales.

🏅 Sports Day is tomorrow!

We're looking forward to a fantastic day of inclusive activities, traditional athletics events, sporting challenges and inflatables. There really is something for everyone!

👕 All students should arrive in full PE uniform, sun cream and water bottle.

🎉🏫 Year 5 Festival 2026! 🎈⚽🔍

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome 265 Year 5 students from Romanby, Appleton Wiske, Osmotherley, Mill Hill, Broomfield, Alverton, Brompton, Applegarth, Great Smeaton and South Otterington for our annual Year 5 Festival, giving them a taste of life at Northallerton School and the opportunity to experience what it could be like as members of our Year 7 cohort in 2027! 🌟

Throughout the day, students enjoyed a fantastic range of activities, including giant inflatables 🏰, a murder investigation challenge 🔎, exciting technology activities 💻⚙️ and a highly competitive game of dodgeball 🏐💥

It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork and laughter as students explored the school and took part in the day's activities. 💙
