Congratulations to Geoff who recently received out Resilience and Determination Award.

When Geoff was forced to stop working due to ill health, he never imagined he'd be studying for a digital qualification. Starting with our First Steps course, he built confidence, made new friends and discovered a love of learning that's leading him to his next adventure: digital photography.

Geoff’s advice to others thinking about learning is to just go for it. "You won’t be the only one who’s scared. If you’re sitting on the fence, just do it. It’ll open up more opportunities than you can imagine.”

Geoff was nominated for his award because of his kindness and the inspiring way he has re-entered education.
