Early bird on the January leadership programme closes Wednesday.

Six days across three months, twelve places, starting 28 January in Northallerton. £1,295 + VAT, or £795 if you're third sector. Goes up on Thursday.

The first cohort finished this month and every one of them scored it 10/10. If you've been thinking about it, this is the week.

Six days over three months. First cohort scored it 10/10 for value, relevance and recommend. Next cohort January 2027.

"A series of mini light bulbs."

That's Steve Prince, who runs Click Through Digital, on what six days actually did.

Worth knowing: he'd trained with me before. He came in knowing the style, knowing me, and not expecting to be surprised.

What he describes isn't a revelation. It's a run of small ones, over three months, about things he already half knew and had never properly looked at.

That's what the format is built for.
One long day gives you a feeling.
Three blocks six weeks apart give you something that's still there in March.

Next cohort starts 28 January in Northallerton. Six days, twelve places.

Early bird pricing until Tuesday.

A manager who should have been dealt with a year ago.
A decision that's been on a desk for three weeks.
The same conversation for the third time.

Seven people came on the first Sort Yourself, Lead Others. Estate agent, HR consultant, OT, support worker, charity manager, a windows firm owner and an agency owner. Nothing in common on paper.

Every one of them had a conversation they knew how to have and hadn't had. Not because they were bad at the job. Because they were good at it, and worried what saying it would cost them.

That's what the six days are about. Next one starts 28 January in Northallerton, twelve places, early bird until the 30th.

Kelly had a client tell her she was useless at her job. She answered in a few words, didn't waffle — and then didn't spend three days rerunning it in her head.

That second part is the bit I care about. Anyone can get through a hard conversation. Not many get through the aftermath.

January cohort now open, early bird ends 30 September.

The first Sort Yourself, Lead Others cohort ended on 4 September.

The scores: 10/10 for value, 10/10 for relevance, 10/10 for recommend. All seven participants.

And the one that matters more — how much has your day-to-day leadership actually changed? 5 to 10, averaging about 7.5.

I'm posting the second number because the first one on its own is the sort of thing anyone can claim. 7.5 at three months is a group of people who went back to real jobs and got a good chunk of it working. Not all of it. That's the honest version, and it's the one I'd want to read if I were deciding whether to spend over a grand on a course.

Seven people, seven completely different jobs, same problem underneath.

Next one starts 28 January in Northallerton. Six days over three months, twelve places.

The name's Sort Yourself, Lead Others for a reason — the order matters.

Claire trains leaders in businesses. She finished the first SYLO cohort on Friday herself and wrote this on her feedback sheet. I'll take that.

January cohort now open. Early bird ends 30 September.

Just launched something I'm genuinely proud of.

NLP Toolbox is a platform built specifically for NLP practitioners and people learning NLP — and it's been a long time coming.
If you've ever trained in NLP and found yourself:

Blanking on a technique mid-session
Forgetting half of what you learned six months after your course
Looking for a safe space to practice between clients

This is for you.
What's inside:
🧠 Technique Library — every core NLP technique, explained clearly and searchable. Practitioners are telling us that having it on screen during sessions has transformed their confidence and recall.

🤖 AI Practice Client — practice your NLP skills on a virtual client that responds like a real person. Different presenting issues, different resistance levels, real patterns. The closest thing to supervised practice without needing a training room.

🗺️ Interactive Mind Map — see how everything connects. Perfect for visual learners and for anyone who wants to understand the bigger picture of NLP.

📓 Coaching Journal — track sessions, spot patterns, reflect on your development as a practitioner.

🎙️ Stuff and Uncommon Sense podcast — included in the platform.

Plans from £2.99/month.

All start with a 14 day free trial — card details required upfront, but nothing is charged for 14 days. Cancel any time before then.

Whether you're a qualified practitioner wanting to stay sharp, someone currently training in NLP, or a coach who qualified years ago and wants to reconnect with the tools — NLP Toolbox was built for you.

Apparently NLP is dead. Nobody told my clients. 😏

Honestly — Google "NLP" these days and you get robots learning to read. The tech world's run off with the name, so half of you probably think I teach ChatGPT to speak now. I don't.

I teach actual humans to stop being a div to themselves. Trust me, it's harder.

And yeah, NLP got a bad name. Mostly thanks to the headset-and-white-teeth crowd promising to fix your phobia, your confidence AND your love life in one weekend for two grand. Cheers for that, lads.

But take all the guru nonsense away and what's left is genuinely good stuff.
How to read people.
How to take the sting out of a memory that still makes you cringe. How to stop your own brain chatting sh*te at you all day.

It works. Has done for me for 30 years.

NLP's not dead. It was just sold badly.

Don't chuck out a perfectly good toolbox because some pillock used the hammer wrong.
