After a week of playing ice cream shops in the role play area, we decided it was time to try the real thing! The children ordered their ice cream at the counter, recognised the number for the price and used real money to pay. Such super speaking and amazing maths everyone.

Year 2 loved their Forest School session this afternoon. They were brilliant and tried everything!

☀️ **HOT WEATHER UPDATE – UNIFORM ADJUSTMENT** 🌿

Dear Parents & Carers,

Due to the warm weather, we are making a **temporary change to uniform for the rest of this week** to help keep children comfortable.

👕 **What children can wear:**
✅ Cool, lightweight clothing (school colours where possible)
✅ Shorts or summer dresses
✅ Polo shirts or short-sleeved tops
✅ No jumpers or cardigans needed

⚠️ **Please remember:**
👟 Sensible, secure footwear with socks, must be worn
🚫 No flip-flops or backless sandals
👚 Clothing must be suitable for school (no crop tops, very short items, or uncovered shoulders)

🌞 **Stay safe in the sun:**
💧 Bring a named water bottle daily
🧴 Apply sun cream before school and bring extra for a top up during the day
🧢 Bring a sun hat for outdoor play
