End of Term Highlights 🌿

As we come to the end of another busy term, we wanted to share just a few of our highlights from across the setting.
This term has been filled with curiosity, creativity and lots of smiles as the children have grown in confidence and independence.

Through their love of learning, our children have explored new experiences, strengthened friendships, and developed new skills and knowledge along the way.

The children have loved sharing in the excitement of the World Cup over the last few weeks. From wearing their favourite football kits and practising their football skills to creating their very own football songs and chants, the excitement has certainly been building across the nursery!

This week, we were delighted to welcome a member of the Armed Forces in to our nursery for a fun and engaging visit!🪖

The children had the opportunity to take part in a variety of physical exercise activities and explore some of the equipment used by the Armed Forces. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity and active learning.

Our little learners enjoyed developing their coordination, balance and confidence throughout the activities, practised listening skills by following instructions and worked collaboratively with their friends to take turn during the training circuits.

A huge thank you to our visitor for inspiring the children and making it such a memorable experience! 💚

Little steps, big safety skills 🚦

As part of Child Safety Week last week, we took part in a variety of activities with a key focus on road safety. The children enjoyed learning about traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and how to make safe choices when near roads. Through hands-on experiences and meaningful conversations, the children developed confidence in recognising ways to stay safe every day!

This week, we had a very special visit from the fire brigade! 🚒

The visit was made even more special as one of our parents came along with the fire engine. It is so lovely to be part of our local community and to use opportunities like this to support the children’s learning and development.

Experiences like these help to spark conversations about families, different job roles, and the important people who help us every day.

We are very lucky to have such fantastic families who help to enrich our setting with wonderful experiences like this.❤️
