Sacred Heart Catholic Primary - Northallerton

Our assembly foci this week has been Eucharist as a group of our children made their holy communion; Our British values assembly linked to the World Cup and we celebrated our school Feast day with the support of our Chaplain - Deacon Paul.

Amongst many other exciting activities the week Class 1 have enjoyed outdoor play despite the rain, Class 2 have done their daily worship outside, Class 3 have been honing their golf skills and Class 4 had a fabulous day of learning with Simon Carson learning about how to manage finances as they grow up.

Today we welcomed a wonderful group of babies and toddlers to Sacred Hesrt for messy play and songs. We hope you all had a great time and we look forward to seeing you next month for our final session of the academic year: Friday 3rd July, 930am

We are delighted to be back after a sunny half term. Before half term each class researched and completed a memorable activity linked to another faith. We learnt about the golden rule from various religions and how love and kindness was a common theme.

Good luck to our resilient and hard working Year 6 this week. You are simply wonderful and we are all immensely proud of you!

We celebrated Sir David’s 100th birthday with a range of environmental activities across school last week

This month we said goodbye to the simply wonderful Mrs Peacock. How grateful we are to her for her commitment, love and super cooking whilst she was with us. We wish her well in her new role.

So much to love and enjoy about being a Sacred Heart pupil … 1st Aid, Do disco and team building!

Lots of variety to our curriculum offer over the last week. We’ve particularly enjoyed learning outside since our Easter break.
