We are looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly, term-time-only preschool in North Weald.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification
• Has previous experience working in a preschool setting
• Is enthusiastic, caring and passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development

Welcome back! 💙

A very warm welcome to all our existing children and to our new children and families. It has been lovely to see everyone back and settling in 🥰

The children have had a wonderful day exploring and reconnecting with their friends and surroundings.

We spent some time exploring our garden and were amazed to discover how much our vegetables have grown over the summer! The children enjoyed looking closely at the plants, talking about what they could see, and noticing the different vegetables growing. 🥒🌱

It was a lovely opportunity to encourage the children’s curiosity, develop their understanding of nature, and get our new children familiar with our garden.

What a lovely start to the new term! 💙

Graduation Day – Class of 2026 🎓

Today we closed another very special chapter as we celebrated the graduation of our wonderful Class of 2026 at North Weald Village Pre-school. 💙💛

What an emotional day it has been! Our graduates sang so beautifully and made every one of us incredibly proud. There were smiles, laughter and more than a few happy tears as we reflected on the amazing little people they have become.

From their very first days with us to standing proudly at graduation, it has been a privilege to watch them grow in confidence, build friendships, discover a love of learning and develop into kind, caring and curious children.

Although it’s never easy to say goodbye, we know they are more than ready for their next adventure. As they take their first steps into primary school, we hope they continue to dream big, believe in themselves and always remember how truly special they are.

To our amazing graduates, thank you for filling our days with laughter, imagination and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things your future holds.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your most precious little people. Being part of your children’s early years has been an honour and a privilege, and we are so grateful for the support and kindness you’ve shown us over the years.

🌊 Sea Life Sensory Exploration 🐚🦀 🌊

Today our little explorers dived into the wonderful world beneath the waves! 🌊💙

The children used their senses to discover hidden sea creatures buried in the “ocean”, listened carefully to the sound of the sea through giant shells, searched through seaweed to uncover marine animals, and enjoyed watching our calming glitter sensory tube.

These hands-on experiences encouraged curiosity, communication, descriptive language and imaginative play while helping the children learn all about the amazing creatures that live under the sea. 🐢🦈🐠

A fun-filled morning of exploring, discovering and learning together! 💙

🎉 Party Time at Preschool! 🍦 🥳

What a fantastic day we had welcoming Little City to preschool! The children loved stepping into different roles and letting their imaginations run wild. From busy firefighters and caring vets to talented hairdressers, mechanics in the garage and shopkeepers serving customers, every area was full of excitement, creativity and teamwork!!
To top off a wonderful day, everyone enjoyed a delicious treat from the ice cream van, which brought plenty of smiles on such a lovely day. 🍦☀️

A huge thank you to Little City for such an amazing experience—we can’t wait to welcome you back! 🥰

🤸🏼Gymnastics🤸🏼‍♀️

Ending this week's topic summer sports today we focused on gymnastics.

The children had fun role playing with the tuff tray using small world people to make their way around the gymnasium.

The children then used their balancing skills and gross motor skills to dance with the ribbons and balance along the beams.
They also used their bodies to move the hoops around their waists and was doing rolly Polly's on the crash Matt.
