Parks class have had a lovely evening on our Winterton trip 2!

This evening, we walked to the beach and paddled in the sea (carving our class name into the sand!) and have played lots in the fantastic play equipment here.

We then ate our fish and chips with plenty of time for the year 4s to play some more.

The children are now snuggled down in their sleeping bags watching a film and are getting ready for their overnight stay.

We are so proud and pleased with the children, particularly as this may be the first night away from home for some!

Mandela Class have spent the morning at the beach. They’ve paddled in the water, built sandcastles and collected stones and shells. After packing up their things (and changing out of some very sandy clothes!), they are on the coach back to North Walsham, just in time for lunch!

In Pioneers class today we have planted our broad beans into pots.
We have been learning about life cycles and have been excitedly watching our beans growing roots (and a few shoots) in their plastic bags. It was time today to give the beans a proper home in some soil. The children followed the instructions brilliantly to gently transfer and plant their beans. We wondered whose bean will grow the tallest and how fast they might grow!
