The Den (Wellington Lions Primary Academy, Tidworth) have places available for all children between the ages of 2-5 years. We are open from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7.30am-5.30pm Friday 48 weeks a year, and only close for two weeks over the Christmas period, two weeks at August and Bank holidays. Welcome Back! We hope you all had a lovely half term, and we can't wait to hear what the children got up to.

In our Holiday Club, we visited the army flying museum, went to Wiltshire Scrapstore, did lots of baking, and went to Amesbury Library. We had so much fun!😀

The topic for March is Spring🌷 Have a look at our shapes for the week on our nursery office window. We have had another change around of the room. We now have lots more room for Mark Making and Arts and Crafts, and lots of new loose parts play. We also have a new Creepy Crawly Role Play Area which the children voted to have last term🐛

We have kicked off our transport month with lots of transport tuff trays. The children have also started looking at signs of springs and planting new bulbs in our flower boarders. We have also started making Valentines Day Cards which will be sending in the post❤️

Friday marked the end of Occupation and Community month. We have completed lots of activities this month and we started our shapes of the week.

Last week we had an airport set up in the garden, we have been searching for bugs in the sand, and finding out about where we live. We have even made a Chinese dragon for the room! 🐲

Our book library is full running again. Please can you help us keep it tidy, we have separated the books into different categories😀

Position 1: The Den Key Worker
Required for: March 2022
Working hours: Monday- Thursday: 12.00-5.30 and Friday: 12.00-5.00
27 hours per week: Term Time Only

Position 2: The Nest at Eagles Key Worker
Required for: March 2022
Working hours: Monday- Friday: 8.30-3.30
32.5 hours per week: Term Time Only

Welcome back! We have had a fun first week back. We have had a play week this week, and we have started our shape of the week. This week was circle🟢 During a play week, we have listened to what the children want to play with. We have had lots of different toys out, and played lots of games! This term the book tent has turned into a space ship, and our role play is a supermarket. The children have been purchasing food, drink and even trainers😀

We have now started our forest school Fridays! On Friday afternoon a few children will join the bigger children taking part in forest school activities🌲

This months topic is occupations and community.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a purpose-built Nursery which is on the site of the Wellington Lions Primary Academy in Tidworth. The Den is registered for 32 children between the ages of 2-5 years and will be accepting government founded sessions. Our opening times are 7.30am - 18.00 daily term time only.

Position: Key Worker
Required for: January 2022
Working hours: Monday- Friday 9.00-13.00
20 hours per week: Term Time Only
