Are you attending and and seeing the latest developments in drones, robotics, and autonomous technologies. 3iC offers comprehensive pilot and compliance support, helping organisations operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

It reminded me of the story of the Shih Tzu breed, which was once reduced to just 14 surviving dogs. From that small foundation, the breed recovered and thrived. It's a great example of how something with potential can endure, evolve, and ultimately flourish when people invest in its future.

The drone industry has followed a similar path. What started as a niche technology has rapidly evolved into a tool that is transforming industries, from infrastructure inspection and agriculture to public safety, logistics, Defnece, security and environmental monitoring.

I'm looking forward to the conversations, innovations, and ideas that will shape the next chapter of this journey.

My question to the community: What do you think will be the biggest advancement in drone technology over the next five years and why?

Anyone can learn to fly a drone. Professionalism comes from mastering the standards, discipline, and consistency behind every operation. At 3iC Ltd, we bring experience from the blue light sector, military operations, and civilian aviation. But experience alone isn't the key.

The real value comes from providing honest, trustworthy, and reliable advice that helps you make the right decisions, stay compliant, and avoid costly mistakes.

Qualifications matter, but professional proficiency is built from the ground up. Understanding the regulations, procedures, and expectations of the environment you're operating in is what truly sets professionals apart.

Consistency builds discipline. Discipline creates consistency.

Are we placing too much emphasis on qualifications (buy, buy and buy more!) and not enough on experience, competence, and professional growth?

One thing I've noticed in the drone industry is that too many conversations start with "what can we sell?" rather than "what problem are we trying to solve?"

Not every client needs a training course. Not every client needs new software. Not every client needs a complex drone programme.

Sometimes they need simple, practical advice that helps them achieve their objectives safely, compliantly, and cost effectively.

At 3iC Ltd, we believe quality comes before revenue. If a client doesn't need a particular service, we'll say so.
Long term trust is worth more than a short term sale. The best consultants don't create dependency. They create capability.
